Offered here is an original DuMore Grinding Spindle. This is a type X spindle. Serial number 1771. The cartridge measures 2" OD x 9" Long, and the spindle arbors measure 1/2" diameter. The spindle turns freely but I have not seen it under power; therefore I can not verify the condition of the bearings. In general the spindle looks to be in good condition.

One arbor is the shorter 1 5/8" version that came with my 1984 Model 510. The other is the newer 2" arbor that came with my Model 510/520 upgrade kit. Both arbors are the Shopsmith 1 1/4" reverse thread design. Includes one 28 tooth steel Shopsmith saw blade in good sharp condition. And one 9 1/2" x 3/4" Buffing Wheel. Either accessory can easily switch arbors. Only difference is which arbor you need for the spacing of your saw blades in your table. You don't need to use the table with the buffer, but it is an option. Both arbors are nice, one is older but in nice condition, and the other is basically new.
