This is an interesting deal.I have barely used Remo 8 and 10 inch rototoms with stand that has never been used. My intent was to have them as part of my Grisez Custom ash stave drum kit that I have also listed on ebay for 1245.00(see pics above) Hence. I finished the rims in the same lime green paint with lime green sparkle and high gloss clear. I need to liquidate my drum collection. A modification was done on the 10 in tom with the rod(not original) to be workable with a drum rack I was using. I have extra washers on that rod to make up the length difference. it can easily be replaced if aesthetically you are not cool with it. Everything functions fine. Up for bid is a set of Vintage Slingerland Toms from the 1970's. They are 8" and 10" Chrome over Maple and are made in the U.S. Serial numbers are 271842 and 256791 on Niles badges. The stand is one of the tubular heavy duty type 70's stands with clip style Set-o-matic and red badge. I've had these for about 18 years and now I'm scaling down my set. The heads are excellent condition Remo black dot CS heads, they are older heads but in excellent condition. There is some pitting on the toms and stand but nothing major and certainly not a show stopper. They look great and with a little windex they shine like mirrors just make sure to use a cotton cloth as I have always tried to do. Items will ship as is in good condition with no returns. Up for auction is a pair of mid-late 70's Gretsch Concert Toms with a clear maple finish. 6-ply thin maple shells measure 6"x5.5" 8"x5.5" Overall the toms are in good condition. Bearing edges are in good shape. All original Gretsch lugs in good condition with only minor pitting. The toms have had their wraps removed and coated with a clear lacquer by the previous owner. Both badges are original but are loose. The 8" tom badge has a piece of duct tape on the inside holding it in place. The 6" tom grommet back is half there holding it in place. 8" tom been equipped with a Tama Starclassic Die Cast Hoop and Suspension Mount. 6" tom has four extra holes drilled into it around the original bracket opening(pic#6) and the bottom has a small area of separation(pic#11) The 6" tom also has the original ... moreGretsch Die Cast hoop. 8 Note Gourd Kalimba Percussion Musical Instrument Thumb Harp / Piano on Stand
8 Note Gourd Kalimba. The shape of this gourd gives this thumb piano such a rich beautiful tone. It also displays nicely on it's built on base which I believe is the front of the gourd that was removed to make the instrument. It seems to have some age to it but I don't know for sure how old it is. It measures approximately 8 1/2" tall. 5 3/4" wide and 5 1/2" deep. It is a well made piece and it is in excellent condition and plays nicely. There is a number inscribed on the metal bar that lays across the note bars which is 86421357.
