Company History: The Wagner Palace Car Company began as the New York Central Sleeping Car Company, founded in 1858 at New York City by Webster Wagner(1817-1882) in cooperation with Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt. Whose New York Central was the primary user of the four original coaches. Wagner learned the wagon-making trade from his elder brother. With whom he formed a partnership. When that business failed, he become a station agent for the New York Central in his home town of Palatine Bridge, New York, where he apparently came ... moreto the attention of the Commodore. In 1869. The Gates Sleeping Car Company was absorbed and the firm reorganized as the Wagner Palace Car Company. Gates had been one of the earliest—if not the earliest—of the sleeping car companies. Its bunk-type cars had been in operation on the Lake Shore Railroad as early as 1858. About 1870 Wagner negotiated a deal with Pullman to use its berths in the Wagner cars. With the understanding Wagner would confine its operations to the NYC. But in 1875, when Pullman’ s contract with the Michigan Central(a NYC subsidiary) expired. Wagner persuaded them to switch to Wagner cars. Pullman sued. Down Mummy Sleeping Bag- Scout, Car Camp, Durable
Up for auction is a down sleeping bag. Brand says"Down East" However web searches have not yielded any info on this bag's specs. For those who have shopped me before, you know I provide all available info and specs on my goods. there isn't any available for this one, so I'll give you what I know, based on my own gear experience) I've had it for a number of years. And have used it only a handful of times as a backup/ spare bag for backpacking companions. Its been used comfortably down to the +45F degree range. It might be rated for lower, but it hasn't been used any colder than that. Its been stored unstuffed and hanging in a smoke-free and pet-free home. It is in good condition. There are no holes. Tears, wear spots, down leaks, or any other visible signs of degradation. The only sign of age on this bag would ... morebe in its cinch cording around the hood area, it could be replaced, but it is still fully functional(just not"pretty" The shape is a mummy-style. But as you can see from the pictures, it does not have a sharp taper to the toe box area, good for folks who find tight mummy bags too constricting. I would say this is a"regular" sized bag. I'm 5'5" and is perfect for me, however a 6' person would find it too short. There is no zipper on this bag. Its a top-load only. There are attached"roll" straps at the top(red) But no stuff sack. Outer fabric seems to be a thick nylon. Water-resistant fabric that is durable with a crunchy/ crinkly sound(definitely not the super-thin, super-fine fabrics on bags today- this is durable stuff- it leaks down far less than my delicate technical bags, that's for sure! Weight is in the neighborhood of 3.5- 4lbs. This bag would be a good workhorse/ backup backpacking bag. Lincoln Continental Town Car Chrome Center Hub Cap Caps Hubcap 1997-2002
This is one OEM center cap in excellent shape with solid clips and ring. A few surface marks and scratches as shown but not too major. Part# is F50C-1A096-BA. F80C-1A096-CA, F8VC-1A096-EA, or F80C-1007-DA and it fits one of the 16" wheels shown but please notice this has the slender emblem style and not the wider one shown in the last picture. The caps do interchange with each other with just emblem size being a different size only. It measures just under 7" across the front.

1920 Los Angeles California Electric Railway Corporation Trolley Car Ink Blotter
This is another unusual and original ink blotter for the Los Angeles Railway Corp. An electric trolley company that operated in Southern California in the early 20th Century. This blotter appears to be circa 1920s judging by the graphics and style of clothing on the cap wearing boy hitching a ride on the trolley, and features the warning message: SAFETY FIRST" and the blotter is in generally very fine to near mint condition, with strong colors, reverse side still pink and unused, and with only minimal edge wear and tiny corner bumps, and a bit of fading to the edges of the reverse side. An original. Rare, used, 7 7/8" long, probably a 1951 CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP PROMO CAR with a bank bottom. This vintage olive green car has metal windows because it is a bank, all four original tires, and all four hub caps. The car's roof has a 3/4" long crack, minor corrosion to the metal windows and one metal headlight, a 1" crack in its plastic bottom, a metal bank closer with light rust, and no key. The promo car is in very good condition for its age with light scuffs, no melt marks, and no warping. Overall this piece is in very good condition. Pardon any glare from my flash.
