Really cool Whitaker sign rack. Held wire spools at one time. But I do not have any spools for it. Excellent gloss, some nicks and scratches, but all very minor. No dents or dings. there is one place that looks like a paint run which looks to have been cleaned from the metal but the shadow of it remains in the paint. Almost 36" tall and 11" wide. This is an old Brunte Candies countertop display rack. It's a small wire holder that folds up flat. On top is the Brunte Candies logo on brown metal. Everything is metal on this piece. It stands 15 inches tall. The sign portion on top is 9 x 3 1/2 inches. I have not found any other displays like this while researching. So I can't date it, but it does appear to be an original display. There is a bit of light rust on some of the rack, but overall it's still in nice condition. VINTAGE Milk Inspection Case: 24 tagged bottles w/ stoppers, dipper,& wire rack
WOW! What a find this belonged to an old time milk inspector and has it all! This collection comes with the wooden carrying case which in sets a wire rack for all 24 glass 1 pint bottles. All 24 bottles have easy open rubber stoppers which have metal tags that read the letter"H" followed by#s 1-24. All of the stoppers also read PAT. PEND. and MOJONNIER Chicago. 22 of them read Mojonnier on the glass across a badge shape emblem into the glass. Those 22 also read Patent# 57479 across the bottom face. These bottles also are marked on the bottom as well as display an emblem. see pic) Then the 2 remaining bottles read W.M. SPRINKMAN CORP. Milwaukee. Wis. on the face and are also#d and have emblem on bottom. However these two have a knurled type effect to the bottoms. All the bottles are in excellent shape and have no chips or breaks ... morein them. The wire rack fits easily into this wooden box and is divided in the middle to hold the bottles nicely in place. Also include is a long handled dipper or ladle with pour spout. The long stainless steel handle measures 19" before the curve and 21" with. The nice curve handle makes it easier to hold and has a hole at the end if you wish to hang it. The cup of the dipper is 1.75" deep x 1.5" wide. Last but not least is this old faded green wooden carrying box with handle, latch, and also features to metal tags on the top side that read the letter"H. The wooden storage case measures 21.5" long by 10" wide and is 11.75" deep. I must have at least an opening bid of $99.99. Thank You& Good Luck!
