Northern Pike or Musky Head Mount
This is a mount we found at an estate sale. There are no markings on the wood board other than on the back side where it says Wigand(written in marker) I think it is a Northern Pike but I’m not positive. The mounting board is solid wood that is about ¾” thick. It is approximately 12” wide x 10 ½” high. The fish overall dimensions are 7 ½” wide x 6 ½” high. The head only(not counting what I will call the‘cape’ is 5” wide x 5 ½” high. It sticks out 7” from the board to the tip of the mouth. The condition is very good. Spence Petros 7'6" Musky casting rod (extra heavy)
It is hard to take a picture of a 7' 6" fishing rod and do it justice. This is a Spence Petros Musky rod that has had little use and looks perfect except for a slight chip in the cork handle. I am 74 and cannot cast those big Musky baits any more. Caught my share tho and am satisfied.

This is a vintage Musky Mauler countdown crank bait. The lure was manufactured in and around 1992. The bait was only sold at the D-Bar-D Fishin Bum store located on Big Crawling Stone Lake. This lure comes with the original card and blister pac cover. The wood body is 5 inchs long and it weighs 4 ounces. The lure is painted in a perch pattern. Countdown musky baits are one of the most well kept Muskie Guide secrets. In Joe Bucher's ground breaking book"Crankbait Secrets" he spells out his powerful method of countdown cranking for musky. chapter#10) The bait has a sink rate of a foot per second.
