All have some slight issues but are great for parts or repair. The Jaguar Car works great. Speaker is in great condition and the body is in good condition, except the 2 front windshield posts are broken off. Stations come in clear and strong. Car is 8 3/4" long. The Jaguar is made by Swank, Japan. The Golf Ball is in great condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks in the Golf Ball or Tee Base. Unfortunately, I could only get it to buzz a little bit. TWO VINTAGE GE General Electric RADIOS RADIO AM PORTABLE BATTERY P816A P-810A
Here are two vintage GE radios from an estate sale. The larger of the two(the one with all the chrome) has been wired to use a 9 volt battery. The little one is being"thrown in" as it is not in very good shape. Both work though when power is applied. And the smaller one uses an odd size battery. I connected a power supply to check that it works, and it does. The larger radio earplug socket needed to be nudged for it to work and now seems to be ok but you'd want to clean that up with some sandpaper on the contacts or appropriate cleaner to be reliable. These are being sold"as is" The larger of the two has a lot of chrome on it, but appears to be missing the GE badge on its grill. All 4 of these radios work. The Realistic has a Cat. No. 12-2006. It is Radio Shack. Tandy Corp. 1971. It is 3-7\8" diameter. The 2 cathedral shaped radios have a tag Made in Hong Kong. They are 4-5\16" tall. The car is made in Hong Kong. It has a R on the grill. It is missing the windshield and one if the light in the front. It is dirty but I don't clean for fear of breaking something. The rear bumper is loose. I don't know the ages.

COMPLETELY"RECONDITIONED" This auction is for a very nice GTC PERMA-POWER Chassis"Model A" Power supply for older battery operated tube radios requiring 1.5 volts and 90 volts DC. These are commonly called" Perma-Power" Power supplies, power inverters, battery eliminators, etc. There are other models out there called"POWR SHIFTR" or" Power Shifters" which look similar and are basically the same electronically. This particular one I recently reconditioned electronically and I have repainted the case to look new and original. It works perfectly and I have been using this one on my test bench for the last couple of months. Powering up my old"farm" radios that were originally battery operated. The old capacitors were replaced, the old selenium rectifiers were replaced with modern components, ... moreand the power cord was replaced. I have seen these with a inline switch in the power cord to turn it on and off. However, most of these that I have worked on did not come with one. I have not seen any documentation showing that they came that way from the factory. Switches on some of them may have been added by a radio or appliance service technician. Your option here is to put this on a switched outlet. Unplug it when not in use, or to install your own inline switch. It is"on" when plugged in. This one did not have a switch and it was restored to that condition. Having one of these opens up a whole new world of radios that were originally battery operated sets- radios which get overlooked otherwise because of the power requirements. This is a must have item for collectors of antique radios! SPECIFICATIONS: For use with sets that have 4. 5, or 6 vacuum tubes. Input: 110~120 volts AC. 50~60 Cycles, 5 watts. This version of the type 771 has 3 connections and gave the user a choice of 3 or 4-1/2 volts. The logo is copyright 1924 so this is probably when they started making these. The logo depicts a 1920's and early 30's style broadcast antenna. These were also used as A batteries to power the filaments of low voltage tubes like the type 99. If you open these carefully. It's possible to make them functional again because they actually contain 3 D cell batteries wired in series. This battery is sold for display purposes only.
