This unit will only work with a remote mount ... moreXTL5000 and remote mount Astro Spectra. This is way more advanced than a VRS750. This repeater is designed so your vhf. Uhf or 800 mhz mobile radio turns into a repeater and you can take your 800 mhz portable radio inside a building or poor portable coverage area and access your distant repeater or trunking system. This repeater operates in analog, not P25. This the frequency range of this unit is RX 851-870 and TX 806-825. Model# of the unit is 7V073X250218680 The unit is very heavy and made of thick aluminum. To my knowledge the base level is a duplexer. It is not required if you are using a VHF or UHF 400mhz xtl/specra. The lower level duplexer is required if you are using a 800 mhz XTL or 800 Mhz Astro Spectra due to the top level repeater is 800 Mhz. Due to the same frequency band it would likely interfere. Again the Top repeater unit is 800 mhz and you can not change that band only your mobile radio band. The duplexer would require tuning by a service monitor to customize the frequency you want to operate the repeater on. Currently per the last owner the duplexer is tuned to TX868.0125& RX 823.0125. The complete 3 level VR unit us about 10”x10”x12.5” I do not know much more about this product. It did come from a working environment. It is being sold as is due to I do not have a radio to test this unit. Please do research before you purchase this item. Decibel Products DB201 Ground Plane Antenna for Commercial or Amateur Radio!!!
Now up for bid is a Decibel Products DB201 Ground Plane Omni Antenna for Commercial or Amateur Radio. These antennas were constructed for a specific range of frequencies from 30 to 512 MHz. These heavy duty commercial antennas were generally ordered for a specific frequency and were cut at the factory for the lowest VSWR and shipped ready to assemble and mount. The radiator assembly is the folded monopole design and sits in an epoxy head and base to which 4 horizontal radiators were added. This antenna was cut and assembled for a 6 meter ham radio beacon and the dimensions are roughly cut for 49 to 50 MHz. The radials are cut for a frequency above 6 meters. But this may be the best match for the low end of 6 meters in the beacon frequency sub band. The radiator assembly measures 56.75 inches which puts it at around 49.2 mhz. And the radials ... moremeasure about 56 inches which puts them at around 66 MHz. The entire unit should load up nicely near the bottom of the 6 meter amateur band. Everything is in good shape- the radials are solid aluminum and have some bends, but nothing that would affect performance. I’ll let the winning bidder straighten them! The shipping on this item may be tricky since the entire array will only come down to about 6 feet. Fedex Ground will be the best method of shipping since the USPS charges an outrageous surcharge for boxes of this length. Of course, local pickup is possible and saves all shipping charges. Perhaps we could work out something to meet along the way as I will be traveling to Dayton in May from Birmingham. Don’t miss it! Please email me with any questions you may have. Echophone Commercial Shortwave Tube Receiver Radio ~ c.1940's w/Original Antenna
This is a Vintage Echophone Commercial Shortwave Tube Receiver Radio that was made in the U.S.A. c.1940's. It has a built in speaker and comes with its original antenna wire. As you can see in the photos. All dials, knobs, switches, and the two indicators work smoothly and freely. The lens is unbroken and intact. I plugged it in and and dialed around without an antenna. I got theremin-like sounds. Which indicates that the speaker& the unit work, at least to some extent, but I am not knowledgeable enough to test it thoroughly. There is a sticker present on the inside, but I could not get to it without taking the unit apart. Here's your chance to own an authentic piece of Shortwave history! This is what eBay's all about! This unit would make an awesome addition to any collection. And would make a great gift, too! It would also ... moremake an interesting& decorative conversation piece.
