Slanted Dial. I could not test because cord is cut off. The radio is in good visual condition. There was an emblem on front that is off. The next one is an Emerson#6452. Casing is not in bad condition. Both dials are missing off front. Powers up and just makes loud humming noise. Both radios sold as-is. See photos for details. Group of Vintage Transistor/Portable Radios
Four Vintage Transistor Radios This is a group of older transistor radios that we found in Dad's attic. The largest white one is a General Electric 11 transistor am/fm AFC radio. The antenna is missing. Otherwise in very good condition. The 5 inch silver one is by Applause, Hong Hong, 2 mode(stereo or mono) two band receiver AM/FM Stereo. The smallest is Kroy from Taiwan, it is 6 transistors. These two are in very good condition also, a little of the silver paint on the front of the Kroy is rubbed off. The Raleigh is an"all transistor" radio in it's case. There is a 3/4 inch 7 on the bottom right corner of the front, the front has some mild heat warping. These were all located in the attic. 1920s QUAM loudspeaker for antique battery and AC operated radios. Made in Chicago. USA. Permanent magnet type driver with lever-type armature and paper cone. Very typical of cone type speakers from the 1920s. Coil resistance is 4.4K Ohms. Will work on most radio receivers from the 1920s. The speaker produces a mellow sound. Typical for armature type speakers from the 1920s. The original cloth covered lead wires are in excellent condition. The case is stamped steel, the grill material appears to be brass, and the sculpted base is repwood. The repwood base is intact, however it shows some insect damage to a few areas. This can be left alone, or it could be repaired with the application of epoxy resin.
