It has two repeater functions- the more common button on top for repeating hours and a very rare button on the back for repeating 5 minutes. In fact. I own six grande and petite sonnerie carriage clocks and this is only the second 5 minute repeater that I have ever come across. I am still highly debating whether I really want to sell it, but I do prefer carriage clocks with more ornate cases. This clock is fully functional- it runs and strikes properly, also both repeaters work perfectly. One side glass has a small chip(see the photos) Front glass has a tiny surface chip, so small that I have not been able to take a picture that shows it. The clock was difficult to photograph. Especially the dial. I'm not a professional photographer, I did the best with what I have on a simply white background. All depending on the lighting source and the angle from which you stand will have an effect on the outcome of the gorgeous dials appearance. The best way to describe the dial is it has a metallic shimmer mirroed like finish, it's brilliant and relfective with a wg finish. It is meant for the showrooms of the world’s finest watch dealers, but will certainly be the center of attention in any room you choose to display it. This device is commonly used to play a CD throughout an office environment or used as a MOH(Music On Hold) Device for a telephone system. The unit has 2 audio outputs. A line level output that is used to connect to phone equipment or an amplifier, and the second output can be used to drive a small speaker or two. The unit has a programmable playlist so you can play only the specific tracks you want to play from a CD and in the order that you wish. The unit has a programmable 7 day timer so that it will play only when you wish it to play. The unit has a memory that will keep date. Time and playlist settings even after a power failure.
