Up for auction is this old tube type Harron Labs USA made Fire reporter FM receiver. This radio is dirty and dusty and is being sold as it is. There is a crack at the top and side which appears to have been glued a long time ago. As the case is very solid. The dial cord is broken, I could see the pointer and dial cord inside the radio. The power cord has been cut off. The glass dial is in great shape and the controls turn like they should. The back is worn at the corners and the back cover is loose. The original T type fasteners are present. The inside of the radio looks all original and the speaker cone looks healthy and undamaged. I could see, to some extent, under the chassis and it looks untouched, all the original old style caps, etc. are in place. This radio operates in the 30Mhz range. It has seven tubes and some type of rectifier(selenium ... moreor silicon) under the chassis. This would be a fun little radio to play with or to use for parts. I'm not sure if this set would pick up anything, as the reciving frequency is below the 88 to 108 standard FM band. I am unsure if the radio even works. The serial number is 489. The size of this set is approximately 10" long, 7" tall and 6" front to back. It weighs around 6 pounds. SquareTrade © AP6.0 This is a nice EICO Model 324 Signal Generator with a copy of the manual. Schematics and probe. It has a copper chassis. There have been no modifications made externally to the original kit. The signal generator puts out a modulated or unmodulated rf signal from 150 KHz to 435 MHz. and is accurate and stable for normal radio repair work. I've checked frequencies up to 30MHz with my digital receiver and they were all fairly close reading off the dial. Should you need accuracy, then couple in a frequency meter or zero beat using a digital receiver. The signal generator provides an approx. 400 cps audio tone that can be selected or an external audio signal can be used instead. All the filter electrolytics. Coupling and by-pass capacitors were replaced and any resistors out of tolerance were also replaced. The tubes ... morewere checked and both test good. The line cord is the original and is in good condition so it remains. All the knobs are original and all function properly. There is one dial lamp and that turns on. There are some scratches on the aluminum frontpiece and a little rust on the metal cabinet, following the cabinet edges. These could be corrected if you intend to use this unit as a collectable. This signal gererator can also function as a low power transmitter. Inputting an audio signal from a source. Digital recorder, tape recorder, etc would allow you to pick up those sounds on an antique radio, perhaps in another room.just as an idea. If you collect vintage test equipment or just want a good signal generator to align your antique receiver. Then don't pass this by. The dimensions are approx: 10" wide. 8 1/2" tall and 5" deep. Top is Red Glass(not plastic) used and overall good condition: The entire fixture is about 7 inches tall. This is a very modern style of light. It has a quick release top to access the light bulb. It has a threaded hole that you cant ake a 1 inch standard threaded pipe and screw into the light fixture. The light uses standard light bulb thread. You can put in a standard house light bulb including a short CFL bulb. The light is very easy to get electric power to. You take your power wires wrap around the 2 screws/ tighten and that will give power to the bulb. This would be great for towers or even a table lamp in your home: Condition notes: Overall light ... moreis used and good condition. There are 2 very small nick's or chips on the side of the globe- see picture with fingers pointing to the marks. These marks in glass are only on the surface- no major damage to the glass or cracks. The glass globe has lots of white dots or marks- may be paint overspray or something simular. Only the surface effected- again no major problem with glass globe. The rubber ring is in great condition, not cracked/not dry. Threads in the aluminum base are in perfect condition- not stripped. Slight redish tower paint overspray on the alum base. There is a small cord that attaches the top light to the base so when changing the bulb the top stays attached. Overall again light is in used but good condition- pics show these conditions very well. The light bulbs are in picture for example only- no lights. No electrical wiring& no 1 inch pipes included. RF Power output is about 25 watts. This radio will operate the 902/927 MHz ham repeaters. And also 927 MHz simplex. This radio will do up to 160 channels(16 groups of 10 channels each) and features PL/DPL, scan, etc. I will program up to 20 channels for free. Please provide me the frequencies and PL/DPL that you would like programmed. The power connector is a standard Anderson Powerpole. The power button and up/down buttons may need cleaning. I present here two beautiful WORKING meters removed from a high voltage laboratory power supply from times past. The Volt meter has scales from 0-1.0. 0-10, 0-20 and 0-50 volts dc. The amp meter has scales from-3, 0, +10, 15, 0, +50, 30, 0, +100, 150, 0, +500 Amps DC. The amp meter zero's up from the bottom of the scale at the zero point. Both meters can be scaled with resistor voltage dividers to any one of these or any other desirable measurement scale as long as the actual movement does not exceed the 1.0 ma. full scale rating of the meters as is common to most meters of this vintage. I am offering them together because they both came from the same power supply and should maybe be used together for a nice presentation on the front of a piece of equipment. The actual meter face measurement is 4-1/2 inches diameter and the hole size ... moreis 3-5/8 inches diameter. Interesting test set for a military radio. I don't know offhand which number, but it may be from Bendix, and a GRC type, not sure. It does have a switch labled 2-12 MHz and 12-24 MHz. Military Ham Radio BC-334G Aircraft Airborne Direction Finding Receiver-tubes
Here is a BC-334G aircraft low frequency direction finding receiver. Built for and used in WWII, that came from a ham estate that has been modified to include a 120 VAC power supply, is missing some tubes that I will replace if I have the particular ones that are missing( I have a lot of metal tubes) There seems to be missing some tuning drive parts from the front panel and has a knob where the tuning drive might have been. is in gennerally good condition and does not appear to be missing any elecgtronic parts critical to getting it going again. The receiver will be double boxerd and shipped by UPS-Ground within the USA for $60, including all packaging and shipping materials. I only charge actual packing costs and shipping charges. The rack mount HP410B's are pretty rare. This particular version has a black crackle panel. It might be military. Possibly Navy, but there is no nomenclature or identification to that effect. There is NO rear dust cover present as there would be if this were a HP rack mount. The panel engraving is very well done, suggesting whoever did it knew what they were doing. Its features include; a wide measurement range. AC, DC and Ohms) a very high input impedance on DC and AC ranges, easy to use and very rugged. Yaesu Sears Version FRG-7 Shortwave Ham Radio Shortwave Receiver ***NICE UNIT***
SquareTrade © AP6.0 In the early 80's Yaesu manufactured this famous receiver which has been used by shortwave listeners and amateur radio enthusiasts alike for over 4 decades. This is the Sears version of the Yaesu FRG-7 which looks nearly the same except the front name badge and the black cover. The receiver is in nice original condition. But is not perfect as the cover has been repainted. I have taken a variety of pictures for you to see the cosmetic detail. Please refer to the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. The front panel is in above average condition. If you look at my pictures at the bottom of this listing. You will see that we have detail cleaned this FRG-7 and it now looks very nice. The FRG-7 is not scarce and you may find these pop up regularly on Ebay. Many of those are not operating properly and have issues ... moresuch as burned out lamps. Non-functioning modes, or loss of sensitivity. This particular receiver has been serviced to get rid of the noisy pots and controls and there are no operating issues or shortcomings. This FRG-7 comes with a copy of the owner's manual. A copy of the sale brochure, a copy of the Sears advertisement, and an interesting review of the FRG-7 seen in Practical Wireless in June of 1979. In addition, I am including a pdf copy of the manual on CD along with service notes to keep this receiver operating at it's peak for many years to come. The CD contains a wealth of files containing information about mods and specific improvements or operation notes concerning the FRG-7 receiver. This CD is not for sale and is intended to accompany this receiver into the hands of the new owner. Over the years. I have restored and sold about 65 of these FRG-7 receivers. Yaesu did not offer the fine tuning on the early receivers nor the battery holder on some of the later units. This particular receiver contains both of those features. The fine tuning is especially helpful in tuning across the amateur bands where the user needs dexterity to clarify the sideband signals.

Hello Ebay bidders! I have a rebuilt(electrically) Sylvania type 139 vacuum tube tester. There are some cosmetic scratches but for being as old as it is it's just amazing! I replaced the 400 ohm adjustable resistor with a 400 ohm potentiometer for more accurate line trimming. All resistors are new and capacitors are new.
