Offered without reserve is a good used DBI SALA Climbing/ Body Harness from an estate. This is a quality piece of safety gear for a professional such as a Arborist who does Tree Work. A power Lineman, iron worker etc. The webbing and all fittings are in great condition, I don't think this harness has seen very much use. I do not see a size marked but it fits me well and I am close to 190 lb, it is adjustable and should fit most men within this weight range. RTC-1003 Controlled Descent Device; used, needs recertification
This is an undated device. But it's seen some use and it would need to be recertifed to be considered a safety device used in"falling" situations. The pulley inside works in both directions with a simple pulling on each end. But beyond that I have no knowledge of how to test this. Please scroll down through 11 pictures. The number 30 above the red unit tells me it is a 30 foot cable. Looks right for how much room it takes in the bundle. Unit comes with standard two belts which I believe go around the shoulders and back. The frayed section of cable shows wear through the polyester fibers and in the rubber casing just below that. The rubber ... morecasing surrounds a wire cable. There is no wear on the wire cable at that point. Cable could be replaced with a similar or longer cable if required. See note above picture for description of the wear shown here in closeup. The carabiner is rated at 5.000 pounds. The whole unit is designed for a worker weighing no more than 300 pounds.
