And I was impressed with the all metal construction and the heft of this holder. it is obviously well made and meant to last, and it has remarkably well. All is working and functional, it adjust to your needs. I have an old wooden row boat circa 1930s. I have only put period pieces on it to keep it"right" I do not know the age of this holder. But I would put it on my boat just for its beautifully crafted mechanics. Even if it is newer than 80 years old. It is well made and all metal, no plastic here. She died about 6 years ago. And we have just begun the process of going through the boxes ourselves. It is an arduous process. Some items will go to concession dealers. 2 CE Smith stainless Rod Holders. These are plated in a gold color(Titanium plate? but they are stainless and not Aluminum. These are for 3/4" pipe which has a diameter of 1.05" The mounts for the rod holders can be adjusted to mount to vertical or horizontal pipe and can be angled as well. These rod holders are used. But are in decent condition. There is some evidence of age on the gold coloring, but for the most part is is still fairly shiny with a few minor scratches. They should polish up well. The rubber liner inserts do need to be cleaned but are in good shape. All the hardware(mounting bolts) are corrosion free and working fine. I put anti-seize on them so there is no thread corrosion.
