The tray is removable and has two holding positions to allow the instruments to drain. Another small tray is also included. The accoutrements are really classy looking like the drain cock with porcelain handle and the master switch also with a porcelain knob. The lever to open the lid is made of solid brass and works smoothly. This unit was just cleaned and serviced. I fired it up and it really heats up the water. The unit sits solidly on four feet and I have seen one with a wall mounting bracket. The item is in great condition overall with only a couple of small dings on the lid and some stains. The bottom of the tank has some chrome loss or stains otherwise the unit is just plain pretty and will show nicely in any setting. Feel free to ask any questions.
