This machine was tested. Powered up, got hot, and performed its pressing function properly. That was the extent of the testing I performed on this machine. I know very little(actually nothing) about this type of machine, so any interested parties, please ask questions you have before you make the purchase. If you are interested in this item the chances are very good you know more about this than I do and can ask pertinent questions that haven't even occurred to me. This machine needs a good cleaning; we do not have the resources to give this a thorough cleaning. 220 single phase. 2 wire configuration. Manufactured 10/2006. Obtained in working condition from a high volume Miami bakery that replaced this unit with an identical, new, unit. To be fair. I am not certain how the die attaches to the bolt that holds it. Picture 10 illustrates a missing bulb cover, the bulb lights up but the red cover is missing. Picture 9 shows a broken knob. Pictures 11& 12 show the pie tin holder and 2 dies, the die on the far right has a crack in it, easily repaired by a welder. One last caveat, the upper deck has a canister over the die holder, I do not understand its purpose, however the upper deck does get hot. To utilize both decks the canister should be removed.

Merand Diva bread dough divider-20 or 10
Good condition. Well used Merand Diva dough divider. We used this divider for about 6 years. Then replaced it with a different brand that was more suited to our production. This model will allow you to divide 10 or 20 pieces. It automatically senses the dough, and will press lighter or stronger depending on what it needs. The 10 press works well for highly hydrated doughs like Ciabatta, provided you don't overload the machine. Divider ran great when we put it into storage 2 years ago. Its been sitting ever since. So could use a good clean. It runs great, but could use a little TLC. If your production is relatively low, you could run it as is, or if your doughs are pretty stiff you'd probably be fine. The last 6mos or so of use our wetter doughs would squish out a touch in the very front of the divider. It probably just needs some ... moreadjusting, but its possible that the plate needs to be replaced that the handle locks down into. See picture. I suspect it is just worn and not allowing the top to seat as firm as it should, but I don't know for sure. Divider is sold AS IS. Included is a French/English manual. Which is better than nothing, but translation can be comical at times! Prospective buyer is welcome to come by and check it out if you'd like since I'd rather not ship. I'm happy to strap it to a pallet. Or be available for a shipper to come and take it away, but I don't have the facillities or the time to crate/ship. Starting bid is a low $500. I'm looking for the divider to go to a good home. So come by and haul it away! I suppose delivery is possible within reason. I could put it in my box truck and get it to you. When you buy an Erika Divider Rounder from me you can make sure that the motor runs smooth and that the bearings and belts are in good working order. This unit has 3 new belts. I take the time to clean the head thoroughly though it is impossible to get every bit of dough out of it. I make sure the pivot pins are able to be removed. So you can crack the head over and clean it from the inside. I make sure all the springs are intact and working as they should. In many of these machines there is so much crud built up that you are not able to remove these pins and clean inside. Another thing I ensure is that after you compress the blades onto the plate and pull lever, the cutting mechanism will snap ... moreback into place this is an indication that the head is clean enough to allow this to happen it also indicates that the springs are working correctly. I also adjust the head to the correct position so the knives and ring do not dig into the rounding plates. 9 out of 10 of these Erikas that I get are out of adjustment.
