The top has ridges for shelves to sit on and is also lighted. I do not have the shelves.It measures 62 1/2" long and 35" wide. The two troughs are 16 1/2" deep and 26" by 27" It is on casters that move very easily. Everything works. There is a switch to go from refrigerator to freezer. The lighted top plugs into the bottom.
