Side covers, and foot are all are very clean. As you inspect reel you can see I have not made any modification. Disassembled or cleaned this reel in any way. This is the way I bought it. Please note I am not the original owner; I picked this one up from an auction awhile back. Paid too much of course. My loss can be your gain! This one is old. Shows corrosion in pics, but I've left it"as is" just for the true collector to clean up his/her way. The last picture shows the result of a bit of steel wool on one spot of the same corrosion.it comes off pretty easily. You can see that bright spot in the 6th picture also. If"as is" doesn't trip a trigger. I'll have it clea, shiny, and higher priced for the next go. Even the leather strap in the spool is good.the"click" switch works like new as does the"Free Wheel" switch shown in figure two. If you buy"as is" there will be no return. Antique/Vintage( 1923) Pflueger Redifor Bulldog trademarked Bait Casting Fishing Reel. Here is a very nice antique Pflueger Redifor Fishing Reel. This is almost an antique but is definitely a vintage reel since it was made almost 100 years ago. It looks great for its age. It has the Pflueger Bulldog logo on the front of the reel along with the words Anti-Back-Lash. It also has the jeweled caps that help make this such a beautiful Reel. On the back are the words Patented and the dates of Jan 22.1907, Mar 10, 1908 and Apr 3, 1923. It also has a serial# of 10435. This reel as you can see in the pictures is an outstanding reel The reel works great with a very strong clicker. Its only issue is the knob on the counter handle has dried up a bit.
