Delightful 6 Piece Trousseau Set 1920's-30's
This set is a wonderful example of all the beautiful matching crochet lace on this trousseau set. The set includes a turn down sheet. 4 small decorative pillow cases and a night gown. 1. This gorgeous turn down sheet is made from cotton sheeting and measures 96 inches wide. The crochet lace trim and lace inserts are 4 inches wide. The turn down measures 36 inches. The total length of the sheet is 99 inches. But 36 inches is all turn down. The sheet is in excellent condition. 2. A set of 4 attractive matching pillow cases. Made from cotton sheeting. Each case measures 17 inches wide and 25 inches long. Add the hand crochet lace that is 11 ½ inches deep at widest point, the total length is 36 inches. The button-hole closers are there, but there appears to never have had buttons. One case has marks, the darkest, see pic, is slightly smaller ... morethan a pencil eraser, some lighter marks on other side of case.The others are in excellent condition. 3. Last but not least is the delightful night gown. I believe the material is of cotton long cloth. With the bodice top of the same crochet lace as the other pieces. Length of gown from shoulder to hem is 47 ½ inches. The bodice is 12 inches from shoulder to the material. The length of the sleeves from the neckline of sleeve opening is 15 inches. It`s an older nightstand put out by Gordons Inc. Johnson City Tennessee. Take a look at picture# 9. It`s the quality inspectors tag. Dated either 1930`s or 1950`s. I honestly can`t tell. Every other number I can. Except the decade one. It does have a few damaged spots. Nothing structural. It`s a very tight and sturdy piece. No wiggle whatsoever. See picture# 5 of the lower leather inlay panel. It`s got either something on it or a worn spot. See picture# 7. It`s of a rather large though not too deep scratch. It`s about 3 inches long including the spot where it doubles back on itself. Other than those 2 spots nothing really noteworthy damagewise. Pretty lighyt duty occaisional scratches and scuffs beyond that. Not much dirt either. I did give it a light damp dusting but nothing more. It was stored in a good place. Has brass feet. Another couple are card stock, another is the type you open- on the back it says, Whitney Made, Worcester, Mass. The German ones are a mouse whose eyes& ears move and a clown whose eyes also move, but his arm(that would move) needs to be re-attached. I believe the German ones are quite special. 3 Vintage Samplers one from the late 30's
All found at various Estate sales. The one on the left is very nice and clean although framed a little rough. The one in the middle and is the oldest, I bought it directly from the maker who told me she made it in the late 30's, she was very sweet. It will probably have to be reframed, it is falling out of the one it's in now. The last one has no glass on the frame and has some words in german on the back. Selling as a lot because they will all fit nicely in a flat rate box saving you money. Large ones measure 13x10 smaller one 8X10 Ask any questions you have.

Rods are used but in excellent shape. Small amount of corrosion on the reel seats. Had Penn 50vsw's on them and caught from 50lb yellowfin to 200+lb makos on them no problem These are highend custom rods not cheapo store stocked ones.
