30 Amp GENERATOR TRANSFER SWITCH Panel Double Throw manual Safety FPE
Offered is a good used generator transfer/ safety switch from an estate. It is a good looking used panel with a manual lever on the side that was used to switch incoming electric power to a generator during power outages. It has cartridge type fuzes inside which I like because they are reliable. The switch arm on the side operates smoothly. The panel was made by FPE and it is rated at 30 amps, 240 volts, it has 3 poles. There is a bit of surface rust on the case as shown but it is in absolutely solid condition and I am sure that it will service someone well. 200 AMP Manual Transfer Switch with Square D Load Center Lightning Protection Suitable for Generator and Solar Applications. This switch is Service Entrance Rated. The manufacture of this switch was Intersect. Who catered to the Cell Tower Industry until they were purchased by ASCO. This switch was a trade show model and was never put into service. There are two lightning arresters which are pre-wired to the panel. As shown in the pictures the panel has excellent instructions printed on the panel as well as the schematics. The hole that is plugged with the white aluminum on the side use to contain a Appleton plug which we removed. The Square D load center is rated for 200 amps and uses the Squared D Type QO breakers which can be purchased in any big box store. The two switchable breakers are 200 amps each. There is an interlock so only one ... morebreaker will be energized and any given time. The panel is Service Entrance Rated and is Nema 3R for outdoor use. The exterior is aluminum construction, so the panel just weighs 63lbs(70lbs for shipping) The dimensions are 39" Tall X 13" Deep and 21" wide. This is a first class piece of equipment and priced well below the retail price. There are some minor scratches, but overall this unit is in excellent condition.
