Selling two used Dayton Torpedo fuel oil/kerosene portable heaters 170.000 BTU. Model# 3VE51. They are in very good condition and were serviced regularly. Unit#5 needs two parts that I am aware of 1. Fuel Gauge 2. Fan Guard and the paint is rough on the upper shell and tires are dry. Unit# 6 is ready to be used. They were tested for starting only by means of the thermostat and on/off buttons. They triggered the fuel starters and works as intended. There is not fuel in the tanks, therefor they were not tested for heating. These heaters were purchased from a local school district auction and were sold without fuel. REDDY HEATER 110,000 BTU portable forced air kerosene heater
This heater belongs to a friend of ours. I am selling it for him. He bought this new a few years ago and only used it a few times. He said he could not stand the fumes. He was trying to use it in an enclosed area. These heaters MUST be used in a well ventilated area. It says it right on the heater. It is powerful(110.000 BTU) so will put out a good bit of heat. My husband plugged it in to make sure the fan worked but, it has some sort of safety thing on it that prevents the fan from turning on unless you have kerosene in and, we did not want to buy kerosene because we have no use for it. So, I will just guarantee it to work. It looks good so, I have no reason to think otherwise. Please feel free to make an offer. I will entertain any reasonable offer.
