Old food service cart(dim sum) 1940-1960. Thought it might have been made in Hong Kong. But other opinions was that it was hand done in San Francisco. No expert on this piece but have had it appraised and all of my information is from that. This was a street vendor food carrier for dim sum/dumplings(but they were used in restaurants too- some times on wheels) Made of glass and plated tin. This asian designed cart features 2 shelves, glass display panels, a lower panel below possibly for coals or other warming method, but could have been made for food storage as well. An extra glass panel is included. Also has six hinged boxes for storage of condiments. Napkins, and other assorted items as well as one special pice. It has 2 burners, 4 sinks, hot and cold water, umbrella, chip rack, 2 propane tanks and 2 coolers. New hitch coupler, new safety chains, new lights, new wiring, and some new plumbing. This is a gravity fed water system, with water heated by line passing over the burners. Everything works with no issues. Was Maryland health department approved when previous owners had it from 2009 to 2012. Have title and other accessories. Bidders are welcome to come see the cart before the auction ends. I can't do returns because we are moving. There is no reserve price!
