I bought this motor to convert my belt driven lathe to variable speed DC. Mechanically it was more than I could pull off. I have tested this motor at 12 volts and then full wave rectified line voltage controlled by a Variac. It runs smooth. I will supply a schematic of the test variable speed setup. Motor shaft is diameter 5/8" and a length of 2" Overall motor length is approx 13" I dont know if it can be used as a generator on a wind turbine etc. but when I spin the shaft. Voltage is produced.

The shaft is 5/8" diameter face mount only no mounting feet. I looked at the brushes and could see absolutely no wear on them. This motor is surplus from an equipment repair shop's inventory reduction. This shop gets new equipment in and changes out the motors from time to time so the equipment can be used in different countries. The motors have not ever been put into production. But it does not carry a manufacturer name on its plate. 9 Amp. 2" long shaft 5/8" wide. Does not have a mounting bracket attached. Overall length is approx 16" including shaft. Both leads appear to have been attached at one point. I do not have 90V DC to test on, but I did hook up to 12V battery and motor turned easily. Shaft spins easily.
