The one I can't see any name on it but I just assumed they are the same kind as they look somewhat identicle. The only numbers I can see is 008060. SUPERB BRITISH WWI DOCUMENT GROUPING TO OLD SOLDIER, WAR WORKER AT VICKERS
This is an amazing group of documents relating to an old soldier. Sergeant Harry Plant of the Royal Artillery, who came out of retirement in 1915 to once again serve King and Country! Although he had been receiving his pension since 1901, he returned to work as a clerk at Vickers throughout the War. Sadly, he died only a year after the War ended! Included in the group are his photo, his War Service badge, his pension document, his Ordnance Workers identification book, his savings book, an original copy of his will, and his National Registration card! He was obviously an active old gentleman! Interestingly. The symbol appearing on his War Savings documents is an upright swastika, which was of course, not then associated with the Nazis, but was usually seen as a symbol of good luck. I have blocked it out in the main photo to avoid offending ... moreanyone. I have not researched Sgt. Plant's previous war service. This would be a particularly exciting find if one could locate any of his medals. This grouping is from the amazing collection of my late friend. Patrick Gariepy. He passed away in August, and I have been asked to help disperse his magnificent collection.
