Light is very bright and timer appear s to work accurately( or at least close to it) and c o nsistently. Timer ra nge goes from 0 to 60 s econds. Light bul b's remaining life is unknown. It looks like it is designed to either accept accessories. Or to lock onto another unit of some sort. Due to the metal pins on either si de. I'm guessing that in the old days. The photo of the long switch was used to turn off the system when it was empty and turn it on when the solution level went over the float. According to this information Seeburg encouraged all refrigerator salesmen to buy these devices and attach them to refrigerators they sold on time payments. This would force the housewife to make 25 cent per day payments into the timer to keep her refrigerator running. Kodak Timer Red Paint & Cast Iron Working
A vintage Kodak darkroom timer in good working order. Made with cast iron mount and original fire truck red paint. Marked on dial Kodak Timer Eastman Kodak Rochester NY made in United States Of America. On Cast Iron mount N4. Start and stop switch on front. Looks like dial may have been glow in the dark but it has a few flakes and is crackled. Inside face glass has a few spots I'm sure will clean if you know how.
