The porcelain enamel on the light shade and the vertical shade support are in excellent condition. There are no scratches or chips- the chrome base plate and S&P shaker arms are also in very nice shiny condition. The underside of the base plate does have some exposed underlying copper plating. The Grayson clock/timer is a painted finish in very nice condition. The square clock thin trim is in fair condition, mostly shiny chrome with some wear as you can see. All the clock/timer knobs turn as they were intended, the clock hands and red timer wheel all turn quite nicely; there are no cracks or chips in the glass crown/cover. The clock/timer olive green and red face is in gorgeous condition, some slight yellowing from age. We have thoroughly cleaned the exterior surfaces, replaced the rusted screws and nuts(see the last photo of"Sally's Work Bench" The wiring should be replaced just to be on the safe side, we have clipped and taped the broken wires. AUTHENTIC MODELS 30 Min. Brass Sand Timer w/ Rotating Hanger
This Authentic Models Brass Hourglass stands 5-1/2" high x 3" diameter. Without hanger. The hourglass is hand blown and runs for 30 mins. Brass hanger rotates 360 degrees for easy hanging and rotation of the hourglass. This particular model does not have a stand for hanging. Here is a great vintage black cat set. Temperature Tillie and Tommie the Timer, probably circa 1950s. Each measures 5-5/8 inches tall and has an attached easel so that they stand up. Tillie's thermometer seems to be working fine, and Tommie's glass timer is also in great condition. No damage to the metal, and almost no wear to their painted details.
