Here is a Retro Atomic Prevore Streamline Electric Broiler Unusual Design Steampunk Space Age 1950's This covered broiler cooker has a very unusual design and shape. The only markings I can find are'Prevore Brooklyn NY. The domed shaped cover has a diameter of approximately 11 inches. The base has a diameter of 15 inches. And when you include the handle, it is approximately 23 inches wide. The burner is located in the dome. The electric cord has two positions so if you plug in the low side, only one coil lights up. When you turn the plug over and plug in the hot side, the other coils light up. This cookers works. The design has a space-age look and reminds me of Sputnik. I could not find a patent number, but I am estimating that this cooker was made in the 1950's. I have not seen another one like this one. Even if you would not ... morewant to cook with this vintage item, it would make an awesome display or conversation piece in your kitchen or shop. It is in very good condition with a couple minor dings and surface scratches. Has a nice wooden handle that is not cracked as well. Works great and gets hot very quick!
