Nice vintage Lawn Boy gas advertising gas can. No leaks. Paint is pretty bright and has a great look. Has built-in measuring cup for the oil. It is a 2 gallon can. The gooseneck spout has a reverse cap that threads onto the lawn mower tank so you can transfer fuel with no spills. The only minor problem is the handle popped off. It was spot welded but it could also be soldered since the can is tin. I saved the handle and it is included. Pretty cool to have it around your shop if you have 2 stroke stuff. Printed on brass stem is PM ITALY. It is in very nice condition with no dents in metal. The top has smooth rims and cups are very clean inside. The only issue is visible tarnish circles on both cups. Up for auction is a RARE"KING GEORGE II PINT GRAIN MEASURER CUP. This piece is branded with the seal of KING GEORGE II. ENGLAND. It is branded on the inside with the seal of KING GEORGE II. GR was the abbreviation used for GEORGE REX( Rex is latin for King) 2 stands for KING GEORGE II. 35 below the shield stands for the year 1735. This piece is made of oak. One piece wraps around and is fastened with nails that are hammered flat on the inside. The base is attached by nails which was the method used in the 1700's. This measurer cup was found in the tiny south-east village of Tilmanstone, near Sandwich in Kent, England. It was found in the base of a hopper in a hop field, it is therefore assumed that this cup was used to measure hops to make beer. I'm listing in this auction a lot of three old medical items, a very rare nose irrigation wash cup that has a rolled lip with a ground and polished base rim that's fully marked and patented from 1901, a small measure that's marked 2 tablespoons or 8 teaspoons that's somewhat primitive in shape and stands a bit wobbly, and an eyewash cup that's marked'Korea' There's some expected wear and minor nicks from the years of age and use and with sitting around and being in storage. But they are free from cracks and repairs. This is a very unusual find and the nose cup is an especially rare and collectible form. Measuring liquid ingredients: milk. Water, etc. With pour spout up. Turn cup so that blue“liquids” arrow is pointing up. Place cup on a level surface. Pour liquid into inner cup to desired measurement. Pour ingredients out of cup using spout. Dry or solid ingredients: flour. Peanut butter, shortening, etc. With pour spout down. Place outer sleeve with red“dry/solids” arrow pointing up. Press thumb at point marked“PRESS” on top of inner cup. Pull inner cup and twist to desired measurement. Fill ingredient to brim and level with back of knife blade or flat-sided spatula. Hold outer sleeve in one hand and push inner cup to eject contents into bowl.
