This listing is for 2 comic books- The Adventures of Luther Arkwright#8; The Battle of London and#9; The Hand of God. These are by VALKYRIE PRESS. 8 is DEC 1988 and#9 is FEB 1989. These are from England. Book#8 does have a couple of faint creases, pages have yellowed lightly from age, back page has creases near the top right corner, bottom left corner and a small crease at the bottom right corner. Book#9 is in great condition though there is light yellowing on the pages from age. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions before bidding. 1932 Vintage Insurance Policy - Arkwright Mutual Fire Insurance Co.
Very cool vintage insurance policy from a closed Chicago factory. It was cleaned out of an old safe by the vacating property owner. Such documents can make for great framed artwork or just interesting conversation pieces. I’ve framed a few for my own home. But I have more than I need. This particular document is for the Delta Star Company through Union Mutual Fire Insurance Company. The date of the policy is July 1. 1932. This item was kind of hard to photograph due to its folded design and inserts; however. Hopefully you can get a feel for how cool it is by the photos I included. I flattened some similar documents for personal use by putting them under my mattress for several days. Pressing them flat with large books might work well too.

This is" Arkwright" a gorgeous 21" tall retired Mohair Charlie Bear from the Isabelle Collection. Designed by Isabelle Lee and is limited to only 350 world wide. This being number 302. He is a lovely cuddly panda bear made from beautiful mohair fur in black-tipped-with-white and pale apricot with creamy tipping. He is a big boy at 21" tall and being fully jointed is made for a good cuddle. Arkwright has irresistible. Sculpted'tickle toes' and endearing felt-backed eyes.
