I had this installed by an electrician in my house for a week. A wire arced and blew my generator breaker. I then called another electrician that said this was not necessary and appeared to be fine though. He re-wired my generator to not need a transformer. This thing is HEAVY! It cost me $1000 plus install. The mounting tabs have some bends in them and there are a few scratches. I'm guessing this is because it takes 2 people to even move it around.
