The integrated hook on the spool keeper also lets you hang the taper from framing or scaffolding. To change tape rolls, grasp the tape retainer wire near the end of the spool post and depress it down and out through the retainer slot. Swing the retainer wire up and out of the way, change tape rolls, sliding the new roll fully onto the spool post. Swing the retainer wire back down, and guide it into the retainer slot. It’s that simple! NO HASSLE CABLE CHANGES. The plunger stop has been improved to simplify cable changes. The metal and exposed screw heads have been replaced with a smooth. Rounded, plastic plunger stop that is easy to remove and re-install. To remove the plunger stop, lift the locking tab and twist the stop ¼ turn counterclockwise. After twisting, pull the stop off the taper and complete the cable change following the normal procedure(see Cable Replacement) To re-install, align the guide tabs to the slots and slide the stop into the taper end, twisting ¼ turn clockwise. Continue twisting until the tab snaps into place, locking the assembly together. If oriented correctly, very little force should be required to install the stop. This is not the quick release kind but has three screws that hold tube on. parts include with new price, head- $135.00, brass nut-38.50-link- 24.75, plus studs and nuts for filler and goose neck, and bolts for handle and shaft[worn] head is in good usable shape but has marks for being hit with hammer to get apart and marks from screw driver trying to get tube off, i dressed up around where tube go's next to head, should be fine with a little sealer on it,same where brass nut go's in head, there is some pitting there but with a little sealer it will be fine, link has wear on one end and other hole is good, still got a lot of pumps left, bolts for handle has some wear, studs are great. i glass beaded all parts and chased all treads with a tap and all are in good shape. look at pictures, shows dings and wear. ... morecheap shipping

this is a tapetech mud pump with a level 5 pump tube on it. Which is twice as thick as tapetechs as seen in pics. tapetechs is.060 and level 5 is.130 thick, has dings and wear marks from normal use, head has marks from being hit with a hammer, and tube has marks of being hit in upper part, but where plunger travels in tube it is not hit, it is below dings except one light ding in middle which does not effect operation of pump. has tapetech pump rebuild kit in it, filler is older tapetech type for their earlier pumps redrilled and works great, look at pics. this pump is ready to go, with heavy tube and rebuild kit should last many years. bolts in handle are all good. free shipping in lower U.S.
