U.S. Army PASGT Kevlar Helmet 1987 Original Issue w/ Insert and Camo Cover!
This auction is for a genuine U.S. Army original issue PASGT Kevlar helmet with chin strap. Insert(with headband) and camoflauge cover. This helmet was issued to me in 1987 when I went through Army basic training and then served my term of enlistment. It is in very good condition and again is all original issue equipment. There is a small tear in the camo cover, but it's fairly minor. I'm not sure what size the band is on the insert. I was about 5'10" and weighed 165 lbs at the time if that helps. Here for your consideration PASGT Kevlar Helmet Size Small S2 Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops(PASGT; pronounced"pass-get" Is a combat helmet that was used by the United States military from the mid-1980s forward. The Personnel Armor System for Ground Troops Helmet is a standard infantry combat wear in the U.S. military. The shell is made from 19 layers of Kevlar. A ballistic aramid fabric treated with a phenolic resin system and is rated at a Threat Level IIIA as per DARPA, USMC and USA and offers protection against shrapnel and ballistic threats. It meets the 1800 requirement of MIL-STD-662 E. It weighs 3.2 lb(1,410 g) size small) Condition Good condition but it has been used- there are some slight cosmetic scratches on the outside.
