This is sort of a hodge-podge lot of misc. solders and paste. The lot includes(1) roll of rosin core solder for electrical use. It weighs out at 14.5 oz. 1) roll of 40/60 acid core solder. It is a 1/2lb roll but actually weighs 9.8oz so if any was used, it sure wasn't much. It is 40/tin 60/lead and has the number 356377 O/M 1-10(1) partially used roll that I am not sure what it is. It has a partial sticker reading Royal Mdse Co. College. 2) small containers of acid core. These are the tubes with the red/yellow lids. The combined weight of them is.8 oz. 2) short pieces of fairly thick solder. They have a 1.9oz combined weight. 1) can of Oatey No 5 Soldering Paste/Flux- I would say it looks about 90% full. Good way to fill your soldering box!

Vintage Acid Core Plumbing Solder Lot, Approximately 22 oz. of Solder
For Auction is a Lot of 2 one-pound spools of vintage Acid Core Solder- both have been used. The remaining material weighs 24.7 oz. including the metal spools. So I am estimating that there is 22 oz of solder. The one spool is branded Kester, Kester Solder Company Chicago and the other is Standard Easy Flow, New York Solder Co. Neither spool is labeled with the alloy but most of the older acid core I have seen is 40% Tin/ 60% Lead. There is considerable corrosion of the tins and some on the exterior of the solder, probably helped along by the acid core flux, but the solder is fully useable. Most of the items I sell are from estate sales.
