Here is a Sage 6110-4 Z-Axis switch rod that has been mostly used in my casting classes and shows only minor wear marks. Cork grip is in very good condition with no chunks missing or hook marks. There are some minor surface scratches but none penetrating the beautiful finish. Comes with factory Sage rod tube and sock. No warranty card but none is ever needed with Sage and their normal warranty is in full affect. I only sell top-quality gear and please rely on my history for character confidence.

This rod is in very good condition. I'm not much of a spey caster but it throws overhand quite welll also. I just prefer single hand rods. Tube and sock are in good condition. There are a couple of marks on the inside of the sock flap and a couple of scratches on the tube here and there. From the Winston Website: With an eye on the detailed blending of quality. Consitency, and power, this rod will meet the expections of the angler who has a desire for the switch rod application with slighty shorter heads and heavier tips. Great in the surf for casting overhead, as well as spey style on a smaller steelhead or Atlantic salmon stream. Grain weight ranger ... morewould be 430-469 grains for Scandi lines, Skagit should be around 20 to 50 grains more. If you notice one of the pics shows that the rod has grain window of 447-478 written on it. I think the person writing the labels that day confused this rod with the 13'3" 7/8- which it is not. 11'6" 6/7-weight. My favorite choice for swinging classic steelhead patterns on the tight confines of the Trinity River in California is the 11'6" Winston BII-MX 6-weight. This rod. Paired with a 420-grain Compact Scandinavian floating line is the perfect spey casting solution for this river. This rod fires long accurate casts with a small"D" loop and the lightness in hand(5 oz) makes fishing for the"fish of a thousand casts" possible with a minimum of physical effort.
