I cleaned it, repaired the cord, renewed the grease in the gear box with manufacturer correct grease, checked the brushes and loosened up the chuck so it works with your fingers. I have for auction a 1675-1 Milwaukee Hole Hawg. Heavy duty 1/2" 2-speed, right angle drill in original steel case. It is in well used condition, probably used commercially. I opened up the gear box, cleaned the grease out and checked for gears with teeth missing, shavings or chips, bad bearings or broken shafts(all good) I then replaced the manufacturer correct grease(type E) checked the brushes and lubed up the chuck. The cord and cord protector have been cut and needs to replace or spliced together by you. Milwaukee cords can be bought on line for around $12.00. The Milwaukee cord part number is 22-64-0121. Cord protector part# is 44-76-0150 around $2.00. The clips for the wire to the switch may also be needed if you replace the total cord. If so the part# is 22-44-0090 and you will need two of them. Price for them is around $0.80 ea. I did strip the wires and ran this in both directions with no problems. This drill will have ID markings. Paint markings or engraving somewhere on the drill.
