Up for bid is an Antique Desk accessory that was used as an Invoice Holder or Bill Spike in an old Hardware Store in Reynoldsville PA. When a customer asked to return later in the week to pay for an item. The bill was"put on the pin" then retrieved for payment. This metal Holder has a 2" square base and is 6 1/4" high. You are purchasing a REPRODUCTION window insert for the Hardware and Pharmacy Stores from the 1950's- 1960's. O SCALE The photos are from the actual file used to print the insert. I have taken original insert and carefully removed any imperfections while maintaining the original colors. I then made sure that this insert was the exact same size as the original. The entire process took many hours. The insert is printed on high quality glossy photo paper using a 6 color ink photo printer and then laminated on to a card stock. For sale is this antique apothecary seed counter from an old general store store. The counter is in good used condition with lots of patina. As you can see from the pictures. The drawered unit easily lifts out of the glass showcase. The counter measures 95 1/2" long x 24 1/2" wide x 40" tall. There are 55 drawers that are graduated in size from the top down. All of the drawers are in good condition and open with ease with the exception of one drawer which is missing the front panel. The only other issue is a slight crack in the glass which is pictured. For sale is this antique apothecary cabinet from an old hardware store. The cabinet is in good used condition with lots of patina. It is made entirely of wood and measures 28 1/2" long x 10" wide to the knobs x 10" tall. It has eight drawers some have dividers and some do not they are also removable. All original knobs. The back looks like it was replaced as it is a little different wood and color not a big deal you never see it when you display it. I think they put it on when they removed it these were usually built into a wall without a back. The bottom has some old white paint smeared super cool piece with a great look. Up for sale is this 22" x 14.5" x 8.5" antique Benjamin Moore delivery crate. This piece was pulled out of a now-closed 120 year old hardware store in North New Jersey. This piece was used as a nail display many years ago and on it has painted numbers indicating nail size. Inside the box was about 50 nails as well that I will include if you want(some square head) Piece is pretty large. In great condition and an asset to any old advertising or Americana collection. Two and half sides of this crate are painted black. Including on side where the Benjamin Moore lettering is still visible. Billhead and prices for the Daniels CO of Boston, MA 1860's Hardware Store?
You might make an offer of all five by this company. This business was probably destroyed in the Great Boston Fire of 1872 This is a 144 year old bill that has been added up by the proprietor. I cannot read the handwriting but I think it might be a hardware store as I do see the word ax on one of these Daniels bills. I could find no record of the Daniels Company or the Gross. Daniels Company in Boston, MA that preceded it according to the bill. It is in fine condition. I bought this and hundreds of other old paper at a New Hampshire auction. It MIGHT be sent folded unless you would like to pay extra for postage and have it send flat.
