This auction is for a pair of antique soda fountain syrup dispensers and regular canister. Marked on each bottom: HALL- B596B- MADE IN U.S.A. some one easier to read than others) and marked on the bottom of the pumps: PAT. NO. 1919173. This patent date references to 1933 and these classic advertising syrup pumps dispensed the most favorite flavors from their age. The containers are made of porcelain with jet black exteriors and pure white interiors with an art deco lid and stainless steel pump construction. These items are fully functional and in great condition. You can see some noticeable cracks in arm dispenser but it still cleans up well and it gives it a nostalgic look. It appears to me that this dispenser was made for home use in the style of an old soda fountain dispenser rather than being an actual commercial restaurant piece. But I do not know for sure. The dispenser is 10 1/4" tall with a 3 3/4" bottom diameter. PLEASE NOTE: The straws in the dispenser are 8" long and that is about as long a straw as the holder can accommodate. A 9" straw will NOT fit in the holder. Lifting the knob on top raises the inner bottom platform on which the straws rest to allow for easy selection of a straw. The dispenser has a stainless steel body and top with chrome over brass fixtures. The top has a"push down" pump with a porcelain pineapple label. The dispenser is in very good vintage condition and it seems to work fine but it has not been tested with syrup. It has a great vintage art deco/industrial age look to it and should work as a real dispenser or simply a neat display piece. The dispenser is 13" tall and 5-1/2" X 5-1/2" at the top. This item measures 9 3/4" by 6 3/4" by 3 3/4" This Vintage Soda Fountain Dispenser came straight from the F.W. Woolworth’s Soda Shop that was in Roosevelt NY. My parents pick it up when the company went out of business 1997. The Syrup Dispenser is marked Hall and is all black porcelain coated on the outside and white porcelain coated on the insides. The item is in vintage used condition and shows some wear and normal aging. This syrup containers has no cracks the porcelain containers is in good used condition. The syrup pumps are in good condition but could stand some polishing. The Freezer lid is in good used condition. The tall stainless container will need some cleanup. Vintage Early 1900’s Black Ceramic Soda Fountain Syrup Dispenser#54034 This is a vintage early 1900’s black ceramic soda fountain syrup dispenser in working condition with the great patina of age and use. The white ceramic cap on the push handle is labeled for"PINE APPLE" syrup. The metal around the ceramic cap has lost its outer finish. As shown in the photos, which gives the dispenser a well-used look. The syphon mechanism does work and it provided a good stream of water when tested. The metal of the syphon mechanism has seen many years of cleaning and the metal is no longer bright and shiny. As shown in the photos. The black ceramic outer finish is in very good condition with only only a few defects. On one side of the dispenser. There is a small spot where the black glaze seems to have not fully covered the whole area before ... morethe dispenser base was fired. Although it looks like a chip. When you look at this area under magnification you will see that the black glaze did not flow and cover this small spot fully. Also. On the top extended rim of the dispenser are what may be signs of wear or just a part of how the dispenser was formed and glazed. The bottom edge of this extension is a little rough and each of the sides has a fine white outline around the edges. The bottom of the dispenser is not glazed and has the discoloration of many years of use. The bottom is marked with the word“LIQUID” within a diamond shape and also the number 54034. This dispenser would be a great addition to any collection of soda fountain memorabilia. The dispenser is about 10 1/2 inches high without the pump mechanism and about 14 3/4 inches high with the pump mechanism in place. The dispenser is about 5 1/2 inches square at the top. This is a heavy dispenser as it weighs a little over 9 pounds. Up for auction is this old stemmed soda glass embossed RICHARDSON'S LIBERTY DRINKS. There are a few minor faint scratches or blemishes that are nearly impossible t o see except upo n close inspection. It is in otherwise near mint condition. Free from damage with some normal production flaws being a few air bubbles in the glass and some wavy lines within the glass. The glass is crystal clear and looks to have an off grayish tint color. This piece stands a hair under 6 inches in height. Measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter across the opening and 2 5/8 inches in diameter across the bottom. The bowl of the glass is paneled and the letters are raised within the glass. It is a really great piece and would be a great addition to any collection. RARE/Vintage Round "Golden Orange" Soda Fountain Dispenser-Salesman's Sample
Very Rare/Vintage Golden Orange Soda Fountain Dispenser. This is truly a find! It is a round dispenser. Sitting up on 3 feet, measuring 9-1/2" tall and having a 9" diameter approx. The only other one we can find is considerably larger measuring a full 21" tall with a 18-1/2" diameter. We believe ours to be a salesmen's sample based on it's size and the fact that the"spigot" and"drain" are so small and don't appear to be operational and more for display purposes. The interior contains a stoneware cooler in which the syrup would go and outside surrounding the stoneware ice would have been packed. There is minor paint loss and checkering of paint. The stoneware insert is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The body is bright orange, with green legs, orange feet and green lettering ... moreoutlined in gold. The Golden Orange name is repeated 3 times around the dispenser and the lettering is in very good condition with a small amount of paint loss on one letter. This item is in very good condition. Vintage Porcelain Soda Fountain Dispenser ORANGE Flavor marked on the pump knob on the top White porcelain container bottom measures approximately 10" high by 4.25" deep by 6" wide. Marked on the bottom The Liquid in a triangle which I believe means The Liquid Carbonic Company. Chicago. They began making soda fountain items around 1897. There is also a number under the triangle but I can't make it out. Bottom of white porcelain has some rub an scuff, discoloration marks, knub imperfections in the porcelain from when it was made(little bump pieces) that have discolored since it is on the base. This item is not dated. Former owner told me he estimated circa 1930's and I think that is possible. But I do not know for sure. It is vintage older. Metal pump insert has a porcelain knob at top that says"ORANGE" on ... moreit meaning this container was used for orange flavoring. When you push down the knob it pumps. I have filled it or tested it. So I cannot say if it works. Being sold"as is" as was found. Top is a thick plastic measuring 4.5" by about 6.75" Condition note: A corner edge piece of the top heavy plastic. Near spout, is nicked missing as you can see in photo. This old dispenser was likely in an old restaurant or ice cream parlor soda fountain along with other dispensers containing other flavors. The two pieces are heavy weighing 10 pounds unwrapped.
