These are original USS Connecticut BB-18 1910 invitations that were issued on board the USS Connecticut when the ship was flagship of the Atlantic Fleet commander Admiral Seaton Schroeder and was on station in the Caribbean practicing battle maneuvers. 1. This is St. Patrick's Day"Invitation for all on board personnel to attend the General Mess. En Route to Hampton Roads, Va. This colorful Invitation measures 5.85" long x 4.62"wide with a beautifully colored. Embossed front cover and a B&W inside menu. The invitation is in good condition with no tears of rips. But it has some staining on the lower front. It was printed by the onboard printing room and the colors are vivid and standout with the Red, White and Blue American Flag and the Green and Gold Irish flag surmounted by a Golden Eagle. 2. This is a Smoker"Invitation ... morefor all on board personnel to attend this Boxing and Musical event that was held February 12. 1910. This colorful. Cigar Shaped Invitation measures 6.87" long x 2.62 wide with two brown covers and 4 double pages stapled at one. It is complete with a cigar band that states USS Connecticut Smoker with a picture on the back cover of the USS Connecticut. The invitation is complete and and in excellent condition. It was printed by the onboard printing room and details the schedule of bouts and other activities that evening. This and other pieces as well as many letters are in a collection of Admiral Seaton Schroeder's papers that I obtained 12years ago in Boston. There are literally hundreds of letters and other documents still left in the files which I will be listing in the coming weeks. US Navy Admiral Seaton Schroeder was born in Washington. Offering today a very cool original Art Deco Chase tray and matching ashtray. Marked on back of tray"Chase Pat Applied for" with the logo. Tray measures 11-1/4" x 5" Ashtray is 2-1/2" across. There are some dents on bottom of ashtray which cannot be seen when in use. There are 2 paint wear spots to the red stripe and it has been used. Tray has a small dent on bottom which is not very noticeable. Some light scratches. Oxidation spots and signs of wear from the years. Red stripe on tray is very good. For over 80 years. The Walter T. Kelley Company has been manufacturing high quality beekeeping equipment worldwide with exceptional value and legendary customer service. Mr. Kelley started his beekeeping business in Houma, Louisiana which was called Gulf Coast Apiaries, but later changed to Gulf Coast Bee Company. He supplied package bees and hives locally on a small scale. Mr. and Mrs. Kelley met while in Louisiana and in 1926 they were married. She was a splendid life partner who saw him through the tough and trying times of business and life. After Wall Street crashed in 1929, they decided that manufacturing would be more profitable, and after several years of outrageous freight rates across the Mississippi River pushed a move to Kentucky. In 1934. With little cash but a lot of perseverance, they tore down the old factory buildings and ... morereopened the business in Paducah, Kentucky as The Walter T. Kelley Company. Wanting to begin an ad campaign that would attract the attention of the consumer, Mr. Kelley decided to replace the head of a bee with his picture. In 1938, the idea of the“Bee Man” Trademark was registered. His remark was“Make a fool of yourself and people will remember you. Kelley—the Bee Man” soon became a well-known symbol in the beekeeping world and greatly contributed to the growth of the business. In 1938, a Sewing Department was added, in 1939, double boilers and extractors were added along with wired foundation, followed by capping melters in 1941. In 1944, Mr. Kelley took over publication of The Beekeepers Item, a national beekeeping magazine. In August 1946, the name was changed to Modern Beekeeping. In the late 1950s. 500 Gallon Propane tank BBq SMOKER & Trailer Grill
I started building this more than a year ago and seems like I get busy and cant work on it. It is a 500 gallon tank with two doors cut out with a plasma cutter. Doors are inside. I just recently set it on the trailer you see. It is not welded down or anything so you can set it where you want. There is no grates or anything inside or any firebox. This way you can make it the way you want. The springs are around 3000# I believe. Also has a new hitch. Total length with trailer is around 13 feet plus or minus. There is a foot or so on each side between the fenders. Have not done anything with the lights. I have about $1000 in this and trying to just get that back and any fees I may have. Must pick this up and PAY AT THAT TIME with in 2 weeks. PLEASE

Vintage Reuge Steinbach Herzelina MUSICAL Nutcracker Smoker Germany Retired Maid
UP for your consideration this week is a wonderful 1980's Original Musical Steinbach smoker by the name"Herzelina" She is in great condition for her age. And the smoker appears to have never been used. Herzelina was known as the"tainted" woman who is fabled to be the wild daughter of the owner of a French manor who grew up chubby, and became unfaithful once married. She has cute red cheeks. Lace pantaloons, bonnet, shawl and of course her ample assets while moving side to side atop a faux-fur covered music box top base which uses Steinbach's preferred Reuge Swiss Musical Movement. The music box is wound with the key on the back side. And plays the famously know tune"La Danse des Canards" Chicken Dance" when you pull out the lever on the other side of base. Herzelina has long been retired. And is ... morea very hard to find collectible. She stands approximately 9.5"H. If you are a nutcracker lover. She will fit right in. She has been sitting in a box for a while, so she is a little dusty. However, she has all her stickers, and heart shaped wood liebling tag. This is truly a rare piece.
