Normal 0 Normal 0 Normal 0 ORIGINAL METAL SIGN"Hey. Do Not Enter Dillweed" 16"X16" This is a very cool sign with the words Do Not Enter sign on it and embellished with Hey and Dillweed. From what I can see. It was not added on later but made with those extra words as you will be able to see from the texture of paint on the red portion of sign. This sign is in good condition. It is made from hard metal but is not city grade hard metal. Does not feel like a flimsy sign like some of those cheap re-issue advertising signs. Colors are still terrific, some marks, scuffs, paint fade, a little loss in some areas of shine, scratches, and a little warping present from having been hung I believe and a little snoopy sticker in corner that clearly does not belong. This is a Trico embossed thermometer sign. It stands 10 inches tall and 20 inches wide. This sign has no touch ups(Use the zoom feature for a good look before you bid. Beautiful condition. Only a few slight surface scratches. The graphic shows a large wiper arm and wiper blade. The thermometer is not broken and still measures temperature. The size is 20" x 10" I don't think they made many of theses and theirs probably not many left. Don't let this one slip away. It will look wonderful in anyone's garage. Great double-sided sign with bright colors; measures 21 1/2 in x 11 in. Has two factory mounting holes along top for a hanger; one hole has broke through and another hole drilled next to it. Also. Vintage BIRELEY'S Orange Soda Tin Thermometer Sign--Fantastic Colors--VERY COOL!
This is a vintage soda thermometer advertising BIRELEY'S Orange Soda. It measures approx. 15" X 4" and looks very neat. It has the classic orange bottle and the red'Not A Bubble In A Bottle' Has number code"10" at the top of the scale. Dates to the late 40's or very early 50's. Has"Non-Carbonated" printed at the bottom. Glass tube seems intact and functional. But we cannot guarantee its accuracy. Have not tried to clean this item, will leave that to the new owner. Paint seems to have some crazing, fading, and flaking.but overall has a very nice lustre/shine to it. Possible touch-up. The back is ok with some light surface oxidation. Very bold and vivid color graphics still look very cool! The imperfections do not take away from this ones ability to look and display very well. Check out the ... morephotos for yourself and ask questions if you have any. Lays very flat. Mounting holes still look to be in very nice condition. Would make a great addition to any advertising collection. These are very rare in ANY condition. This is a highly desirable, vintage collectible that you do not want to miss.
