Red and White Neon Amstel Light Beer Sign. has names Enhance#EH9030A and#EH2266RD. and Zeon Corp. on it(see photos) The word Light is in solid white. Amstel is running or moving red. the photos make it look a darker yellow. I took photos with and without flash. The lighter yellow is more true color. With brackets it is 25" tall by 28 1/2" wide. oval measures 23 3/4" x 26 1/2" the word Light 11" wide. Amstel 16" wide. Comes with a 9 1/2 foot cord and it has a pull chain for on and off. HUGE 1930s Midland Laboratories Neon Sign Light Dubuque Iowa John Deere Hawkeyes
Up for sale is a very rare and old original Midland Laboratories lighted sign. Purchased from a family member who used to work in the chemical plant. She said this exact sign was hanging in the plant for as long as she could remember. By the age of the wood, it looks to me to have been custom built in the 1930s-1940s when the company had its offices in Dubuque Iowa since 1907. Everything on the wooden frame and lettering looks to be original, however I believe the lighting on the inside has been replaced at some point, the power cord looks basically new. It looks to be some sort of neon on the inside, but I have not attempted to open the back of the sign. The yellow front of the frame is made from a thick plastic-like material. The John Deere green and yellow coloring look pretty cool when the sign is lit! There is a pull chain that turns ... morethe sign on and off. I do have mounting chains that came with the sign as well. Measures a very large 51in x 12in x 9in. A google search describes the selling of the company in 1972. In the early 1970’s. An active acquisition program began and numerous companies and janitor supply businesses throughout the United States were purchased. One of the most significant early purchases was the 1972 acquisition of Midland Laboratories, located in Dubuque, Iowa. Midland Laboratories was an established, well-respected firm in the Midwest United States, and the merger of the two companies gave Rochester Germicide an expanded small package line of chemical products as well as an even greater involvement with insecticides. Later, when Rochester Germicide was to change its company name, the name Midland would be included in the new title, significant of the important role Midland Laboratories had in the company’s growth. Up for sale we have a very old Schlitz neon porcelain sign in working condition. I believe this sign would have hung outdoors or been on a curbside pole. And was possibly double sided in its prime. It is only one sided now. The box was updated in Seattle at some point in time according to the stickers on the box. Wish I knew more about this beauty but I don't. It has been touched up(please see photos) but still displays pretty good for its age. I didn't even notice the touchups the multiple times I looked at it on the wall. I haven't been able to find another like it, only a bare sign with no box or neon. Sign measures approx. 6 deep 26 wide 28 tall and uses a fluorescent bulb. Not neon tubes. Truly a rare find and very bright. This very unique and cool Pepsi Freeze Lighted Sign is from the top of a pepsi freeze machine. I originally purchased this a couple years ago in non working condition. Originally it had two hinged pieces of metal on the back that held it to the original machine. Those pieces of metal made it impossible to hang on the wall. Once I removed them I put two hinges on the back with wire for easy hanging on a wall. I also added two rubber stoppers on the bottom so the sign will sit nicely against a wall. This sign will make a great addition to any pepsi sign collection ... moreor even better hanging on a wall in a really cool movie room with popcorn signs and movie posters. Condition Details: Please use pictures as a guide to the signs condition. Its a used sign that shows signs of ware. There are a few scratches on the surface that cant be removed. I sprayed a clear coat over the top of the sign to brighten the dull plastic and give it a nice shine. It also removes all the thousands of small brush stroke scratches that you see on plastic signs that have been around a while. From a foot away the sign looks clean. Shiny and vibrant. The screws are shiny and new. There is some small surface issues on the insert of the cherry flavor portion of the sign. It was removed, cleaned and coated as well so it looks great. The cord just looks older and nothing I can do about that. The inside was cleaned up and painted. The prongs holding the bulb were reattached. The fluorescent bulb was replaced and has less than 1 hour of use on it. The straw is after market(meaning I made it and attached it. It can easily be removed. Up for auction is a custom ONE of a Kind Neon light ART sign. This is the only one of its kind. This would be outstanding in a Sports Bar. Man cave or even displayed in your home. It measures approximately 40" tall by 19" wide and 4" deep. There are two pulls that light the three colors. The orange outline of Jim Palmer. The white of the baseball and the gold of the pitching mound. It was custom designed from my own photographs that were actually used for the Wheaties Box commemorating Jim Palmer after his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. What a great collectible especially for someone who loves sports. Baseball, and Neon. Jim Palmer was the high-kicking. Smooth-throwing symbol of Baltimore's six championship teams of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. His impressive numbers include 268 victories, a.638 winning ... morepercentage, eight 20-win seasons and a 2.86 ERA over 19 years. He pitched his entire career without allowing a grand slam. Intensity was the trademark of this three-time Cy Young winner, who combined intelligence, strength, competitiveness and consistency to become the Orioles' all-time winningest hurler. He spent his entire career with the Baltimore Orioles. Becoming the greatest pitcher in their history. Signed in 1963, he replaced the departed Milt Pappas in Baltimore's rotation in 1966, and led the club with 15 wins.
