For your consideration is an antique ice cream maker drum and parts. There are five pieces to the drum: the drum itself. The paddles, handle, cover, and copper knob. It measures 14" tall with the cover on, and is 16 3/8" in diameter. The cover has all the patent dates from June 1911. Dec. 12, 19111, April 0, 1912, and Nov. 4. 1913. So these dates make this item 100 years old at least. The insert paddles look especially nice. In the third picture you can see G1 44 impressed onto the top of the center of the paddle piece. I didn' t see a maker mark. I was told this was an insert that went into the wooden bucket of ice. Perhaps the maker's mark was on the bucket. Hopefully. Someone is looking for such an insert. Here is a very cool vintage or antique White Mountain Freezer ice cream maker. It has a rustic reddish brown wooden bucket with a 4-quart cylinder inside(I filled it with 20 cups of water. Leaving about 1.5" at top of cylinder, so at 4 cups to a quart, I think it safely holds 4 quarts, or 16 cups, after you put the paddles in and allow room for mixing) The wooden bucket part measures about 14.5" tall with 11.5" diameter at outer edges of opening.
