I used it about 2 times. I bought a White Mountain Freezer and had all kinds of trouble with the motor. It was under warranty. So they sent me a new one. After 1 use, I had the same problem with it. When I called them back, they told me that there was a problem with a batch of motors and there would be a delay in sending me another motor, because they were being redesigned due to the problems they were having. Well, after about 6 months, I got this redesigned motor in the mail, but by then, I had bought another freezer, therefore, I don't need this motor. It is probably about 1 year old. Fast. Up for auction is this vintage ice cream freezer from the 60's. This machine is very clean with minor scuffs and tarnish/corrosion marks. The motor runs well but the agitator has trouble spinning. It sounds like a gear is stripped in the gear box. I did not want to throw this away since it is so well made and still looks sharp. I decided to list it as it is for parts or possible repair. The power cord is original and like new. All the pieces are in great condition. The bucket is made of wood with a steel inner freezer canister. This is all USA made and it is heavy duty. This is a Very Early Ice Cream Freezer that was made before the Sticker was used ~ It has the lettering right on the can. It has a Crank Handle and Directions for making the ice cream on the top of the unit. The Crank has a wood knob and this handle cranks great. The vintage Ice Cream Freezer measures 10" to the top of the bucket and 14" including the handle. It is 8" in Diameter. This piece is in very good antique condition and all parts intact. This is a vintage motor unit for a White Mountain freezer. This unit was made in Milford. Mass by White Mountain. This unit has not been used very much at all. You can tell because there is hardly no paint missing on the tangs where the latch attaches. There is no corrosion on the frame, just a very few scratches from normal wear I repair these units as a side business. When I got this unit in. I inspected, cleaned and relubricated the internal gears. Everything is in good working order with this unit. It runs well and there are many years worth of ice cream left in this unit.
