Up for sale is a Heat Lamp Vacuum Applicator. Used in applying heat activated vinyl onto sign substrates. We used it for years applying reflective vinyl onto aluminum.080 signs. This thing never gave us any trouble! A true workhorse.It is a 4x8 model and comes complete with vacuum pump. Diaphragm, control module including timer. Essentially everything you see in the picture.It can potentially be used to mold acrylic faces but I can't guarantee the machine gets hot enough or that the diaphragm of the machine will vacuum enough to mold the acrylic faces. There is a Sylvania 250 Watt heat lightbulb inside it that still works well also. The label is still inside the lamp to define this as a heat lamp. However. All you need to do is change the bulb to redefine its purpose. Great for photography or just a nice reading lamp hanging over the sofa. This is a great 1930s design that is still being remanufactured today. I do believe this one is from the 60s. I have seen three of these for sale. 2 have black switches and 1 has a white switch. So I do not know if the light switch on this one is correct. Or has been replaced. What I do know is when you plug this one and you get heat almost immediately. You can reach temperatures of 100 to 150 degrees depending on the outside temperature and venting it. I'm moving from a house to an apartment so I can't take it with me.
