Vintage 1920's Thorola Donut Coil 5 Model 57 Radio
You are bidding on a vintage Thorola Donut Coil 5 Model 57 Radio. It in used condition and does show wear to it. It was made by Reichmann Company. I think it from the 1910's or the 1920's but I am not sure of the exact date. The radio is battery powered. So it is untested. The radio will need to be completely restore. It is very dirty on the inside. The air capacitor do not move when the knobs are turned. Three of the tubes inside have the bases unscrewed from the chassis. The lid is bowed and has the veneer coming off the top. The front area with the dials show some wear and crazing to it. The wood work on the corners show some damage to it. This is a Lucks model E1826G donut fryer This is an electric fryer Takes 17" x 25" screens Comes with a Belshaw type B dropper. In good shape, and the swing arm and mount. The fryer works great. And has a new thermostat, but there is a few missing parts, that make it incomplete but still fully useable. It is missing the hinge rod for the hold down screen, as pictured, and it is missing the lid support rod, which rests on a peg on the outside of the body when you open the cover, and holds the cover flat so it can be used as a work surface when the fryer cover is open, also in the picture. As it is the cover still operates fine, it just rests open, without the support you can't really use it as a work surface though, or it would likely break the hinges over time. These things are not necessary for the machine, I am only clarifying ... morewhat it has and doesn't have so it is clear. The dropper comes as seen, no hopper or droppers, otherwise complete.
