Vintage Yellow Panasonic Toot A Loop R-72 Radio Bracelet Donut Works Good Cond
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I am the original owner of this little yellow AM radio. I received it around 1971 or 1972. Features: This novelty radio is designed to wrap around the wrist. Reception is AM broadcast band only- no FM. Radio is shaped like a donut. When twisted. The smaller half pivots and the larger half separates, forming an"S" shape, allowing the radio to sit up by itself. One side of the radio has a speaker grill. There is a jack for a mono earplug. he tuner is located inside one of the"splits" so the radio twists into an"S" position in order to be tuned. The volume control is on the outer diameter of the radio and can be adjusted regardless of whether the radio is open or closed. It measures approx. 5 7/8" high by 6" wide across. Condition: The radio shows some scuffing ... moreand normal signs of wear consistent with its age but the yellow color is still bright and sunny. The notch for the battery opening is now a hole. As shown in the pictures. I remember being so frustrated as a kid trying to replace the battery. Using the edge of a coin didn’t really work and just chewed up the plastic; hence the hole. While this does affect condition. The“silver lining” is that now the listener can get a flat-head screwdriver in the hole and(gently) pry the plastic open to replace the battery. Battery not included) I just tested the radio and it works! It is a little static-y when you first turn it on but I was able to find a talk radio station. Turn up the volume and easily understand what was being said. All of my items come from smoke-free. Pet-free homes. I will ship this priority mail from my home in Alaska. FL from the spring of 1992, advertising two killer shows: Didjits with Alice Donut on April 22, and Seaweed with Rein Sanction on April 29/ Poster measures 20" x 14" on hard paper stock. Stored rolled ever since I snagged it from the Beach Club playing a show there myself, just days later. This poster is in good condition overall. Considering I ripped it off the wall of a club. Description: You are looking at an extremely cute little one cup teapot/coffee pot by Fitch. This teapot has descriptive donut words in green and blue around the outside of the pot. This appears to be a rather rare little teapot- I could only fine one other example of it that appears to have sold on a Japanese website(I couldn't read what it said: Condition: This little teapot is in overall very good condition with no chips. Cracks, or crazing. It does have some minor surface scratches in one little section by the writing. I couldn't get a picture of it- it's the type that you can see if you hold the teapot just right in the light. It doesn't detract from the overall look of the teapot. Size: The ... moreteapot comfortably holds a cup of liquid. It is about 5 inches tall and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches across the base. Shipping and Handling: Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail.
