They belonged to an avid tea cup collector who loving cared form them and they were displayed in a glass door curio cabinet. The colors and gold trimming are bright and vibrant. It is made from silicon china with hand-painted enamel colours on an underglaze transfer print and a brown rim. It has the Booths Netherlands Silicon China backstamp. It is 12 inches(30.5cm) long and 9.5 inches(24cm) wide. It is in good used condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. It has a little discolouration to the rim edge in places from rubbing wear, and there is a tiny spot of discolouration from a pinhole from a bubble during firing(see main photo, 9 o'clock, on white glaze near the blue outer band) There are some light cutlery scratches and a few small impurities in the china. Booths Chippendale Blue 14 1/2" Platter Early 1900's
Offered is an older platter in the Chippendale pattern. It is signed on the bottom Booths Silicon China England Chippendale Pattern. It also has the name Booths and the numbers 19 and 5-17 impressed in the platter itself. The platter looks to be a light flow blue. But we have been unable to gather much information about it. The platter is approximately 14 3/4" long and 11" wide. There is crazing consistent with pieces made in the early 1900's. There is a tight hair line crack(see pic) that shows on the top but does not appear to go through to the bottom. There are no other chips or cracks. Vintage Booths Silicon China Square Footed Bowl. Embassy Pattern, Impressed Mark. C.1906 This is a lovely square shaped. Vintage Booths Silicon China footed bowl or tureen with flowers incorporated into the pattern, which is called"Embassy" Carries a c.1906 printed blue backstamp with the Rd. no. 546049, a yellow number 8725 along with an impressed Booths and what I think is a number on a raised oblong panel. In fairly good condition, no major damage, but has some overall crazing, a small area of staining, mainly under the base, an external underglaze production flaw on one corner and a spider crack on the inside of the bowl(does not go through to the outside of the bowl) The bowl measure approximately 20.5cms square and 11.5cms in depth. Offered is this lovely set of FIVE Flow Blue rim soup plates or soup bowls made in England by Booths. This semi-porcelain china blank features a scalloped rim with a beaded design around the edge. The cobalt blue design features a dark blue“ribbon” with lighter ovals. Under the ribbon on the rim are floral designs spaced between designs of scrolls and curlicues. Another border design encircles the well of the bowl. At one time the outside rim was decorated with gold. But the gold is almost entirely worn away. We believe this china dates to the early 1900s. In addition to the blue back stamp, the bowls also bear an impressed mark on the bottom that reads R, with Booths below that. The rim soups measure 10.25 inches in diameter(26 cm) and stand 1 5/8 inches high(4.2 cm) They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Gold trim is almost ... moreworn off. Booths Serving Bowl Pattern# 1181 Very old bowl from Booths. Circa 1915. Pretty pattern of blue, purple, and pink flowers with green leaves over black and white panels. Has two handles for easy handling. It has minor use/ utensil scratches consistent with age and a few spots of discoloration on the rim. The bottom of the bowl has some discoloration and a small chip on the bottom rim. Considering its age it is in good condition. It may not be perfect, but it is still quite nice and can be used.
