Antique (Ca 1910) Booths Real Old Willow Cup and Saucer
I am offering for sale. An Antique(Ca 1910) Booths Real Old Willow Cup and Saucer Absolutely nothing to be noted that might disappoint. No chips. Cracks or repairs. This is the earliest Booths variety with deep saucer, wishbone handle and elaborate gold gilding. This item has never been near a dishwasher with the result that the original gold gilding is as fresh and intact as the day it was applied. The cup is the early larger one intended for coffee. It measures 3 inches(7 1/2 cm) in height and 4 inches(10 cm) in diameter at the top I only charge what it actually costs me to ship and will issue a refund for over-payment of shipping cost.

This is a plate from the Booths'Sylvan' range- the background is more creamy coloured that in the photo. Has a lovely design of a basket of flowers in the centre. With interesting brown coloured banding in a circle around the plate. It is really set off by the leaf-type designs on the plate'handles' which is picked out in an orangey-brown colour. The glazing has crazed and there are a couple of nibbles out of the glaze around the top edge. It is though a highly decorative item and is also heavy! Measures approx 11" at its widest point

This is a set of 6 Booths Real Old Willow Trios(Cups. Saucers and Tea Plates) 2 of the cups and 2 of the saucers are actually by Royal Doulton and were presumably made by them following their takeover of Colclough(who had bought Booths in 1948) in the early 1970's' The Doulton pattern is slightly different to the Booths- see the photo below. C1920 BOOTHS SILICON CHINA LARGE PLATTER WITH DRAINING WELLS - OLD BLUE DANUBE
This is an outstanding and very large platter made by Booths. England in the Old Blue Danube pattern. The base markings are as per the 3rd photograph as well as the base being impressed with Booths and a number. There are 9 indented draining lines that run into the wells at either end of the platter. As can be seen in the second photograph there is a hairline crack- also having a small chip on the under side of the platter- that runs from the outer rim and then splits into two, which follow the inner edge of the base. The base also has a small patch of raised decoration in blue which must have been a manufacturing fault. As can be seen from the 1st photograph the cracks are hardley noticeable apart from the one running from the edge. The platter measures 18.25 inches(46 cms) in length and 14.75 inches(37.5 cms) in width. This would make a ... morestunning decorative item apart from its practical use.
