Booths England and the pattern name of Victoria. The pattern consists of cobalt blue sections over gilded with diamond shapes with a dot in each centre and with tulip and flower designs inbetween and then hand coloured to the outer floral sections in iron red and this is produced against a pure white ground and finished with gold gilding to the outer rims which is in very good condition with only very minimal wear. This listing is for a very vintage oval serving platter manufactured in England by Booths China in their"Cheswick" pattern. This is the brown on white version of this pattern. This piece came from a local estate sale. The piece is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There is a very light uniform crazing across the entire piece. But there's no noticable staining of the crazing. The platter does have two small, but noticable nicks in the edge of the rim that are shown in the third picture. The pattern still shows very well with only a minor loss of color as can be seen in pictures one and two. Picture two shows two pencil point-sized blue dots that are under the glaze(not sure what they're from) Even with these minor issues, I would still personally classify this antique platter in"Excellent" condition.
