Up for your consideration is a 1950's 1955(ish) DIE CAST Hubley TEXAN JR. This little JR. has the longer barrel and Dark Finish. In the Early 50's Hubley added 5/8 inches more to the length of the barrel making it about 41/2 inches in length. The ejection rod sits back about 11/8 inches from the end of the barrel. This shooter is complete with no cracks. Dents, dings or repairs. It has very little evidence of surface wear from play. Looks as though it has never fired any caps The white steer head plastic grips are in excellent shape. Pull the trigger as fast as you can and the and the hammer responds with a quick and loud snap. Shown with orange e-bay plug per e-bay rules. Toy gun cannot be modified to fire a projectile. The cap loading gate stays closed during rapid and single shot firing and the push pin works flawlessly. Up For Your Consideration is A Beautiful Vintage Halco 250 Cap Gun! I am currently selling a very large collection of vintage cap guns that I recently purchased from and 84 year old collector. I have done extensive research in an attempt to list the items accurately and have taken many pictures to illustrate the condition more accurately. Please feel free to ask questions for further clarification if need be. This Halco 250 cap gun is in very fair condition. The trigger and hammer work well together and can fire really fast. The actual gun is around 8 1/2 inches wide. The overall finish of the gun is in pretty fair condition for being so old; please check out pictures for further detail. You can easily see the Halco 250 engravings on one side of the gun. The handles of the gun are in good condition but do have writing on the bottom of handle. ... moreThe loading cylinder is a little loose but is still very secure.
