Vintage Hand Decorated Japanese Ceramic Satsumi Shi Shi Lion Foo Dog
This is a fine example of a Japanese Shi Shi Lion. Or Foo Dog. It's about 9" tall by 8" wide. Red felt has been glued to the base. There are no marks on it that I can see(I haven't attempted to look under the felt) Hand decorated porcelain. Some of the gold paint has rubbed off over time, otherwise it is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. I believe it was made in the twentieth century, but assigning a more precise date would just be a guess on my part. From the look of it, the amount of dirt and grime that was on it when I got it, and the gold paint that rubbed off, I feel confident about designating it as"vintage.

Disney Mickey Mouse Chef Ceramic with Gold Trim Salt and Pepper Shakers that have never been used. The original stickers are on the bottom Made In Japan. Salt Shaker has 6 holes and the Pepper sShaker has 4 holes. Front marked with Disney and the backside of the shakers are plain. Clean inside and out. No chips or cracks. They are 2.75" tall.
