1993 Haybuster HD8 Tub Grinder. Started out being used for hay. Then since we've owned the machine, it has been used to grind our yard debris from our landscape maintenance company. Once our landscape maintenance crews grew to 6 crews. We started hiring the grinding out to a company that has a 1000 horsepower Tub Grinder. We have replaced bearings. Luck Now 2140 Vertical Mixer, Bale Processor, Tub Grinder
I am selling my Luck Now 2140 vertical mixer. It's in excellent working condition, I just don't need it any longer. Last winter I used it to grind about 200 big bales of alfalfa silage bales, long stemmed grass hay and corn stalks and it works great. It is 540 pto drive, has airplane tires and a digital scale( I can't find the power cord for the scale, will try to get a new one ordered) A 100 hp or bigger tractor will run it fine. It has been stored inside and is not rusted. This is a very heavy built machine, much better than some other brands I have seen. They are built in Canada. A very large press and accessories. according to a couple formulas it holds 55 quarts) including over 4-ft. tall press, nice 3-ft. tall solid oak barrel, and 8-in. grinder/chopper with tub. There are a few parts missing, should be easy to find: handle for the press(will take a 1-1/4 to 1-3/8 in. diameter pipe) metal band for top of tub, and metal pins for holding the two basket/strainer sides together(this is 18-in. tall and 15-in. diameter) This is really a heavy unit, it takes two people to lift the press and the barrel. Because of the size of this item I will not ship. It must be picked up in Morgantown, PA. We are in southeastern Pennsylvania located 5 miles north of exit 298 of the PA turnpike just off route 10.
