Vtg Budweiser Take Home Department Beer Advertising Grocery Store Light up Sign
This sign came out of a Grocery store on Chicago's West side. It was removed in the early 70's and hung on the man cave wall. We pulled it out recently, it had been hard wired in series with many other signs. The cord has been cut off, it worked before we cut the cord and has been sitting since. 26" long 7 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" deep. No cracks in the plastic. The steel sides are straight. There are lots of stains from age, some paint splatters, etc. Please see pictures for description. It has the original pull switch.

Antique Vintage Light Up Advertising Clock Dumont Television Store 1940s - 1950s
I have had this old 1940s- 1950s Dumont Television Light Up advertising clock for many years. It lights up fine and it keeps time. The clock comes in a wooden frame and the measurements are roughly 17 X 17 X 4 inches deep. This old advertising piece was designed& manufactured by Ad- Pact Corp of Pardeeville. Wisconsin. It takes two 15 watt bulbs. I shot the photos months ago and two yellow bulbs(not 15 watts) were all I had, but since then I bought two Sylvania soft white 15 watt bulbs and it will be shipped with the newer Sylvania bulbs. Condition is pretty good overall for its age. The back easily screws off for easy access of the inside. A small chain came attached to the clock and it is easy to hang it. My best guess is that this was a store clock, probably in a business selling televisions. Many times back in the 1940s- 50s store ... moreclocks were put in the front window to attract attention. Nice clean old advertising clock. I checked ebay for"Dumont Television" and found a lot of advertising that ranged from 1945- 1959(I put a couple samples in last two photos. But of course these are not included in the auction. You can find these yourself on ebay if interested. Feel welcome to ask any questions. There is No Reserve on this auction. Up for auction is a large clear plastic. Octagon shaped, Electrical Store Display for the ENESCO SMALL WORLD OF MUSIC COLLECTIBLES. put a light up collectible of your choice in the display, its electrical cord can be hidden and plugged in, in the hidden compartment in the base. The base then plugs in to an outlet. You push the button and it will light up for approx 15 seconds before automatically shutting off. It was found at auction with some other type displays so I'm assuming it came from a store. I don't know any history or specific age. Note that the lid to the hidden compartment concealing the outlet has a small round hole which a cord with little round plug in will go through but a normal electrical plug like I've shown in the photos will not. with the right drill bit and know-how this could most likely be modified? I believe ... morethe base is made of a particle-board-like composite material? Not 100% sure. The top is a clear plastic/acrylic type material. I would describe it as being in good used-preowned condition. The base is very good. Cord good, CAN work fine. I WANT TO BE PERFECTLY HONEST. IT WORKED FINE MY FIRST PLUG IN. Later after moving it around and getting ready to list I plugged it in and it WOULD NOT WORK. I moved cord etc more and got it WORKING FINE again. So. I believe there COULD BE A SHORT in the electrical cord somewhere. I don't think this would be a difficult fix and if it were mine. I would prefer to have it changed-rewired so the light stayed on all the time for display. Personal preference! Typical light surface scratching to the clear plastic. A little more on top than sides, although it was difficult to show in the photos with light reflections etc. There is a tiny spot toward the top which looks like maybe a little spot of glue reside? The clock works as well as the lights. I've put in a new bulb and ballast and cleaned inside and out the two pieces of glass as well as the surface glass of the clock. So it's working condition but the metal/brass surrounding areas are in rough condition(as you can see) and need polishing or re-plating or some attention to get it back to original shine condition. Large 1950s Vtg Falstaff Beer Bar Light Starlight Starry Skies Tavern Store Sign
Scarce Killer 1950's vintage Falstaff Starlight bar sign. Notice how the light radiates through the stars in the metal on the front left and top. And also from both ends. Super cool! This is a large and heavy item, measuring approx 35" wide x 13" tall x 4" deep. Constructed of a metal cabinet with plastic and metal front. Illuminated by 2 fluorescent tubes with starters and transformers and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first lit, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. Has an in line switch to control the lighting. This has feet and can be sat on a table or shelf, and also has two sets of metal hangers, allowing it to be hung in a window or from the ceiling, or hung on the wall. A chain is included for wall hanging. Displays beautifully and looks great lit up but does have various condition ... moreissues to note. There are some cracks, one through the Falstaff shield on the left, two to the left of the script on the right panel, and a small one on the top right. I have included close up pics of these areas. The gold anodizing on the metal parts has plenty of wear, finish loss, and patina. There is some nicotine stains on the inside around the shield area, which could probably be cleaned if disassembled. Please expect the item to have various other areas of wear and tear, including scratches, scrapes, scuffs, rust, dirt, finish loss, etc as the item is quite old and has been used, not new or mint. I'm not trying to degrade the item, just trying to be thorough. All told a super cool and hard to find piece of breweriana from a long shuttered St Louis brewery that would compliment any collection or bar, tavern, restaurant, man cave, rathskeller, etc. Please closely examine the pics for best description and contact me with any questions before bidding. Incredible Sesame Street Light Post Display This is a Sesame Street store display originally to hold finger puppets. Of course you can use it for anything you want and it will make a wonderful decoration for your Sesame Street fan. These are impossible to find because they are store displays for toy stores and usually are not for sale. I got this at a liquidation of a toy store. The white bulb on top does not light up and is a hard plastic. The pole itself is a metal composition and the rings are a light metal that would be easy to clip off the inverted Vs if desired. The Sesame Street sign is also metal. Size- It stands approximately 17-1/2" tall and 13-1/2" wide with the sign.
